Sub payment/veteran rewards

This is a question about setting up the subscription for FFXIV and getting the veteran rewards. I registered a payment method to automatically renew on the 90 day sub plan, my question is, before it's charged thus allowing me to get access to the veteran rewards do I HAVE to wait till the end of my 33 day free time before it charges me, or is there I way I can go on ahead and purchase the time in advance to a, go on ahead and have the play time there and b go on ahead and get the veteran rewards.

I'd also like to know this, please take my money NOW! :D

I would like to know this as well. I have seen somewhere on the forum where someone used game cards and that got them their veteran rewards immediately.

Seeing as how you will not be charged for said game time until after the free time expires...you have to wait.

I know when they get the money, you get the items. Cards are an upfront payment, but I don't know if you can pay for a sub before the end of the free time. I don't see how.

Have to wait. They can't charge you until the free time is up. It's illegal. Though you can go buy timecards, and use them to get the 90 days. Since those can be added, and the time gets added right off the bat.

I also made a thread about this same general question (didn't see this one) and would like to know as well...

Is the general consensus that if you pay for a subscription time with a card, they wont charged you (and you wont receive items) until the end of the trial period?

I am also going to go out on a limb here and say that you currently can't buy game time cards online either can you?

and that does in fact seem to be the consensus and case sadly.

I've seen a couple players with the Ahriman mount already

Cards get immediately added to your time, so you'd get the items right away. Adding a sub, it wouldn't be charged until the free time ran out, so no items until then.

Also if you can, does someone have a link to where you can?

There's been tons of links to buy gamecards in EU, but none I've seen for NA.

Well, that sucks, ah well, either way looks like waiting is the only way to go right now.

Which sucks so much, I wanted to change from an elezen to a miqo'te... Elezen just look too awkward in anything but heavy plate lol.
