So on the update page....


They just posted an apology to the Japanese players that the servers are STARTING to get overloaded, and in the future will reach there limits. BUT DONT WORRY! as early as next week they will add new servers and increase capacity...


Meanwhile NA and EU players can't even fucking play the game....
-Our servers are capped.
-We have no qeue, so its really just a lottery for 3 hours to MAYBE have a chance of getting in.
-our friends can no longer make characters on our servers since new character creation has been turned off.
-Players are no longer even logging off, instead they AFK so no one else can join.


and this has been happening for days.
Japan gets a PRE-EMPTIVE apology for a problem that MIGHT effect them...soon.
And we are stuck unable to play a game we paid for, and forced our friends to all be on different servers etc..

Dear SE. People wont pay for a game we can't play. you want V2 to not fail like v1.0? allow us to F'n play!

It's not preemptive.
Pretty much ALL jp servers are currently locked since our launch crowd finally came in.
Our more populated servers actually have had the same errors and queue issues the NA/EU side does during our prime times.

And yea... Still can't get to the server my guild is on, but ah well.

I can still log into my japanese alt, and as of this morning was still able to create a new one.

Two things NA can't do at all...

This morning wasn't Asia prime time though, not trying to downplay anything, just saying it is an issue on both sides.
Most of the folks I know(self included) haven't really been able to get in for the past few hours.
I've pretty much had the chance to create chars on all servers on the NA/EU side save gilga/levia, but that doesn't mean anything due to timings.
I'm sure they're working on both, it wouldn't make sense otherwise.

I'm just as frustrated really, my entire guild is on a locked server and I still don't know whats going to happen.
I've literally not played a minute of the game.

Wait... Wait... So what the notice is telling me is; because the JP servers are almost busting at the seams. (Way to go NA/EU players, keep doin the damn thang). They get a update letter saying that Server space will be increased and more servers added. But for the NA/EU Customers we get a: Its too many people so were restricting log in and new Characters on all servers???

Why doesnt that make sense or is it just me.

Peace and Patience will help a lot. I am sure they will do all they can to help us get what we wish for.

You are not getting errors on the JP servers when you log because most of them are asleep. I'm NA and on Masamune. Depending on the time of day I do get similar error messages to the people complaining on NA servers. I do not play at JP prime but I am sure they are getting some of the same problems as the NA players.

I really am trying to be patient. I've seen many MMO launches, and know they are riffled with bugs and challenges.

But not being able to log in, or have an adequate qeue system so i dont have to spam the log in button in hopes i get in...is bad.
The fact my friends that are just getting the game can no longer join me...is bad.

I feel ya, just know you guys aren't alone, JP servers have those issue too(albeit not as bad), I've been waiting since minute one of EA to get into tonberry(guilds there) and it's essentially never opened.
They're probably just way overwhelmed by the amount of people trying to get in.Things have been getting better though, from what I've been observing(heck they got moogle open earlier today.)

Moogle opened for a bit earlier today? I do not believe it. Yep, another friend just joined me today in the waiting game for them to unlock Leviathan. She decided to go and make a character on courel while we wait for them to let us in to play with our other friends.. She's having fun but says she feels like shes wasting her time, because it's not a character shes going to put any effort into once were let into Levi. That's why I haven't made but this character and a few others to test out the looks of my toon. We're both stuck playing the waiting game with no end in sight.

That and I don't want to level another alt in my life... >_>

Ironically...Not levelling another alt was one of the biggest things that drew me in lmao

I loved the concept of switching classes on ONE character and being able to put all my time into ONE character!


Sadly...i have 4 alts. 3 on japanese servers so that i can actually play! lmao

Oh boy. Maybe I missed my opportunity to get onto Levi then. I've literally been trying to get on for every waking moment, with a tendency to stay up during non peak hours just to increase my chances. I'm really exhausted now.:( And yeah, this game only requires 1 toon. There is no need for alts, so I don't see the point in working one. I did play a lot of beta 3, so I already have a feel for the game. Wish i could make a toon though. My friends are having a blast. I don't wanna guilt trip them into moving servers for me..lol.

Basically what I'm doing since its my hols now lol.
If it makes you feel any better, I think levis only unlocked for like minutes early on during EA(couple of redditors said they got in, never saw it open myself though), moogle was the only of the "big 3" I've seen go open for a decently long time.
