PS3 Registration code not working

I got my 12 digit PS3 code but the PSN says its an invalid code.

Uh that's really all there is to say on it.

same :( the games cool but things dont seem to be going too well with service and such

Same here. Code not working. Guess Sony servers need updated, yet?

just picked up my copy from Gamestop...code invalid -_-

I've heard that the PSN codes won't be valid til Sony updates the store later today (for NA anyways)

Me and a friend were thinking that it's probably only valid once the 2.0 CE owners can claim their gifts or on/after the 29th.

Never said anything about not being able to play at all, You apparently have until the 29th to register your game before your account is terminated. Again I did say "me and a friend THINK" I never said it was fact lol.

Code isn't valid on my copy either, but I was able to receive my moogle cap and sieth doll in the mail when I was finally able to log in (I hate error 1017 and 3102 btw). Given with my registration code, I'm not sure if it's a D or an O when I type it in... it would be lovely if we used proper fonts when handing out codes...

two steps forward one step back I suppose.

This is the case. Sony has to update its database before you can claim your codes (the PSN doesn't know the codes exist yet). What I would like to know is why didn't Sony already add the launch codes to their database.

actually on the payment page it says ps3 access will be removed in 9 days

Tried entering it again about 5 minutes ago. Still a no go.

For all the PAL players : I can confirm the keys works on PSN.

NA player my Key doesn't work

Already posted in other thread, but NA player. Code doesn't work either.

Anyone know when the store might update?

Same issue here. SE, can you tell us how much time we need to wait?

Not for all. I'm from Spain and my PS3 code from my boxed CE copy is not working it says is invalid or already used, been saying this since yesterday night from my local time.

Can we get an update in this or should we contact customer support?

Edit: To clarify I ordered my PS3 copy from a local retailer, so it should be a PAL copy.

As has been said, it's probably sony we are waiting on in this case, not SE. It's still showing as being available for pre-order in the psn store

The account won't be deleted after the 30th, it'll just be locked and at that point you'll have to enter the serial key to your account to continue to play.

1:00 (PDT) but for me it's 4:00 (EST)

I just put my code in and it seems to be successful. I am downloading the game again ~6 gigs. Do we need to download it if we have the physical disc?
