No more complaining about seasonal events

Yes I created a new thread about this. People complained so much just because of the lack of info and tension was through the roof. Not that I wanted to create an entire discussion but now the ignorant may be enlightened by Yoshi-P himself.

So no more complaining about a holiday event taking up all the devs time.

Holiday events are a waste of time. If there is a team or part of a team dedicated to that, those people could be doing something more productive, like helping out the battle team.

Furthermore, you can't tell people to stop having an opinion on something. What are you? five?

Maybe they aren't so great at changing the coding with a battle system? maybe if said people started working on it they would just slow up the process or make it worst? I can come up with a lot more but you get the point. Since you don't know these people you do not know their area of expertise or what they lack. I'm sure Yoshi-P has the best possible people in their needed positions.

A MMO needs holidays to bring the world to life. There are also enough people that love the atmosphere and content that comes with it.

Already wondering why I visited here now.

Holidays events work their own magic. I personally don't feel they're necessary. But many find the "value" in them. I still believe they are a waste of time.

Tell me a world without holidays.

They don't matter to you. Some of us enjoy them and appreciate what they add to the game.

There will always be people complaining about everything, it is NA way.

Trust me, they said their would be no Bells in this event... I put money on someone rage quitting because there are no bells at this holiday event.

As for it taking up the devs time, I doubt the holiday event team is that big.

I said you don't know their areas of expertise to say if they should be working on something else. Also, I didn't think I had to fully write out... In my honest opinion I think Yoshi-P is competent enough to put the right people in their right positions so the game can flourish.

Please think things through before posting. I made that mistake last night myself so I forgive you.

However, what YOU feel about holiday events is not the issue nor is it why I made this thread. That's it for me though off to do other things. I didn't want to discuss since it was just a statement so people will stop complaining about holiday events taking up all the dev team time.

You obviously didn't understand a word of what Yoshida wrote.

Lol, the title says no complaints and the first response is a Grinch trying to steal Christmas from Eorzea. I enjoy my holiday events and I don't see why others shouldn't be allowed to do so as well because some people don't like them. It is not a mandatory event by all players so what is the big deal.

I'm just laughing at all the people who told us we didn't know what we were talking about when we told them that dev teams are divided into sections.

I am in favor of seasonal events.

I am strongly against this many of them. I mean really, we get one like every two months? It's hardly even worth getting excited about because they happen so often. Max 1~4 a year is more than enough, please.

The reason I think they should try to get every holiday or seasonal event in as possible is it gives players a chance to celebrate them with each other, and from around the world too. I like it.

No doubt! five year olds are notorious for doing this!

Some people actually enjoy holiday events.. I don't really understand why some people are so bent out of shape because of it honestly. It is something fun to do

No they cannot "do something else" they are paid and employed to come up with various seasonal events just like the team in FFXI who came up with alot of cool and funny events. Its like saying a firefighter could be a scientist when there is a lack of fires in their area. >.>;
