How can the servers be full?

When Yoshi had us who played 1.0 transfer servers, they took into account how many wanted to switch to specific servers didn't they? Then they crossed out the ones that were full so too many people couldn't transfer to a specific server? So how can there be an over amount of people trying to access a server if they didn't go over the limits? Because even if people made 8 characters for a server they can only log in one character at a time. I'm confused :confused:

Unless non 1.0 players are accessing the Legacy servers too?

I cannot even enter in the f* queue, its annoying. I spent 6 hours yesterday to create my character and i cannot even play with it right now. Here we pay and must pray to play.

Because they dropped the player cap below the standard so they can more closely monitor their game failing before their eyes.

Yes I know that, however I have been trying to play since EA and even then I had to wait a bunch of times in a queue to log in. If they put a 5,000 player cap on the server, I don't think they would allow over 5,000 players to switch to a server, would they? Even if I wanted a friend to join me in Excalibur, if there are already 5,000 people switched to that server, they shouldn't allow my friend to switch. That was the whole reason for duty finder right? So even if half of the server was unoccupied and they weren't letting any new players in and if that caused trouble finding players for parties, we can cross server merge right? I don't know lol...

I think for now they should add new servers and transfer all the new starters on the legacy servers to their own separate new servers, then in a month or so let people perform world transfers in case they want to play with their friends.

"Full" means "maximum number of concurrent users reached". It doesn't relate to the number of total characters on the server.

No, that's a poor idea. There are hundreds to thousands of players who specifically want to be on the legacy servers with their friends who played 1.0.

Spent 20 mins of my 30mins of break trying to login and didn't get in. I'm login next time and not logging out ever again.

It would be a temporary measure that would alleviate the congestion and would allow 1000s of extra people to be able to enjoy the game, even if they were separated from their friends for a short time, it's better than them not playing at all.

I've been trying for 5 hours so don't hold your breath.

The way I understand it, they set server populations not accounting for instance blades so now we have over populated servers that will never be stable.

ah I see the login issues of being super full servers still hasn't been resolved. go go error 1017. No queue number just the go away we're full message. Not really looking forward to getting early before work to play.
