I recently found an odd way around the log in bug where you select your character on a server and rather than getting sent to a queue it just tells you the server is full and sends you back to the start screen.
Now I've tested this yesterday and today on two different accounts and two different computers.
I simply made a character an one of the new servers (these servers must be low pop because character creation is open for them) and got into the game. As soon as I could I logged out and switched to my real character on my real server and tried logging in again. It finally sent me to the login queue rather than giving me the error message and I was able to log in.
I've done this 5 times in a row with success now.
The server I have been having the bug on is Excalibur.
The servers I have used to get around it is Faerie and Cactaur.
So just to make it more simple here
1. Try logging on on your main.
2. Log in on a character on a low population server (one thats not full)
3. Log off and try logging in on your main again.
4. Finally play the game.
I should also note that after logging off of the character on the low pop server the Start button on the title screen would be faded out for a moment before turning on and letting me use it.

I tried yesterday since I had a character made on Valefor from OB (got 3102 on Saturday) and it didn't work. Maybe because I didn't create a brand new character on an NA/EU data center. Thanks OP. Will try when I get home.

I have tried this a couple of times both with JP and NA servers and it didn't make any difference I am afraid.
Thank you for bringing this one up though, either it was one of the issues which was causing problems originally and now they have mended the bug or possibly you were lucky with timings. Unfortunately it has not worked for me.
Fingers crossed they will fix the servers quickly and I will see you all out there. -

This is a stupid thing to do. You are bypassing the official lock out, and ques. This is not a 'fix' this is overloading the damn servers and going to cause yet more problems because you 'want to play now'
For the record: I missed the beta from cpu failure. I missed most of EA because EE/BT have blocked the game after 7pm at night. (generally when i get in from work)
