Fate's EXP + Location guide / Community supported

Hello all,

To help one another out in the leveling process, list where you have found the most bang for the buck EXP wise out of fate grinding.

This is just to help people who may be stuck or grinding in the wrong zone/region. Please provide the information below as to help others locate these fates.

I will try and UPDATE this thread so all of the information is at the top of the thread, so please try and post in the format below so I can copy and paste.

Ill start it off.

Region: Black Shroud
Zone: South Shroud
Position: 22, 18
Stages: 1
Exp Gain (at lvl 32): 15, 990

Great info, I know there is one in East Shroud South East corner (Amarissaix's Spire area) against a Malboro, grants 10,050 XP even with Level Sync. I update with more info when I get a chance.

aleport is nice place do fates as 12-15 lvl.

Question for those of you who get 10k xp from fates is that from participating for its entirety or did you jump in a bit late because I average 3k exp for lvl 15 fates and I am there In their entirety maybe im just not as effective in combat as everyone else lol

From 38-50 there is some excellent EXP in Coerthus, the exact fates involved this one does not remember the names of them.

Level ranges for said fates?

FATE xp in 95% of the cases is the same amount as a same level quest would give. Some single target FATEs give out more xp.

There are a great many of them ranging from 36-49, to include Behemoth/King Behemoth.

levels 20-25, try oakwood at upper la noscae
small map with 3 fates near each other (simurgh, slasher+coeurl pups, karkinos)
getting gold on the slasher+pups fate gives you an achievement while you're at it

1-12: Horizon in Western Thanalan (Thanalan)
13-20: Aleport in Western La Noscea (La Noscea)
21-30: Quarrymill in South Shroud (Black Shroud)
28-34: Wineport / Costa Del Sol in Eastern La Noscea (La Noscea)
30-38: Dragonhead in Coerthas Central Highlands (Coerthas)
38-42: Revenant’s Toll in Mor Dhona
42-50: Ceruleum Processing Plant in Northern Thanalan (Thanalan)
Rule of thumb: If more than 50% of the FATEs spawning in your zone require you to sync your level down, you should move on to a higher level zone.

Make a public spreadsheet on Google Drive. That way it'll be more organized and will appear on public searches.

Boyfriend and I did fates there for an hour and i jumped 2 levels... Nice place for that mid area where you run out of quests...
