SO, what do you think will happen tomorrow when the server gates really open up?

What do u think it will happen ? we will all uninstall this game and move on.

I think nothing will be ready for NA/EU as I predicted.

The apology mysteriously leaves out any hope for the future.

This leads me to believe that things are going to be even worse for launch.

Then the servers will FINALLY go into maintenence 7 hours later AFTER all these issues so players will not be able to play until Thurs :P

If they dont add new servers or free server transfers, there will be a shitstorm on the forums.

All I know is that if the login restrictions aren't lifted, thats not going to fly for people paying and subscribing to the game....

Meh, the restrictions will only allow them to lose subs. That is all. If people are paying for a game they simply cannot pay they will not keep those people. THey cannot expect people to sit there for hours hitting X, or 0 just to log in lol.

With these login restrictions in place....what do you think....

I think it will be just more of the same as it was yesterday.

I predict mogstation will crash and I and countless others will not be able to access our 1.0 characters because our servers will be full of AFK people

Do we really need to ask this question? The servers couldn't even handle the traffic from those who had early access.

We see FFXIV crash and burn for the SECOND time.

They will keep login restrictions for the next week, and eventually it will get to the point where everyone understands they can never log out for fear of not being able to get back online.

I was somewhat bummed out that I am out of town this Thursday through Tuesday. However, given the server nightmare going on now, I am happy I have a week away to hopefully let the dust settle.

Do we need to sub before play in 27 ? or are we going to be able to play for few days first ?
I'm not a legacy and I don't have early access, I have 1.0 character

Well early access is coming to a close and I haven't even been able to login at all so I don't know what to expect..

[EDIT] Whoops sry... dont know if Grace period is for early access accounts only.

Grace period is until the 30, so you dont have to input your code before then.

I sincerely doubt SE is able to get things straight 'til tomorrow,

You are part of the Welcome Back campaign, so you'll be able to play for free, since being a 1.0 character qualifies you for a free copy of ARR.

Seems I was mistaken, thanks for clearing that up. Either way I pray they will be able to stabilize for launch.

I am more concerned about how I am going to get to play with my friends when my server has been locked since the second day of Phase 4. I keep thinking this will take care of itself, but now I am assuming I'm just going to have to start over. What a horrible choice to make. I don't even know about future transfers, or if the world will open up.

I love the game, and will keep playing regardless... but ouch, is that a painful way to handle things.

Looking forward to waking up after work tonight and login on the mogin.

Here is whats about to happen guys... We all log in tomorrow to find out the servers melted down and our characters are standing back in 1.0 world in uldah looking at each other saying "wut"

Lobby servers will crash. No one will be able to log on. Everyone goes to sleep. I log in at 1am an play smooth till I go to work.

I think they'll do what they did during Phase 4: Create more servers and restrict character creation on anything except the new servers. Regardless, its gonna be interesting.

None of my friends will be able to make characters on my server and I won't be able to log in. Same thing it has been, only everyone will be making fun of SQE this time on streams and review websites.

This, they need to do something about the character restrictions... general technical problems are expected, though not accepted, but the character restrictions are terrible.

I'm really trying to be understanding for SE's sake...but at this rate and the rate they are handling the current errors...I think it will be just like it has been the last few weeks. Not everyone had early access...so taking those people into account and the ones who had early access might prove to be a disaster.

Fingers crossed though...they've had ALL friggin day to work on it. Either way I'll still play and enjoy it once they are stable, just would be nice to play now.

The same thing will happening tomorrow as it is today. I will be shocked tomorrow if everything is working great.
