So I did some math...

Basically, I've paid almost $250 for a laucher of an openning movie for FFXIV ARR. That's 2 copies of 1.0, one because I gave it to my brother since it did not work on my computer, and a second when I came back when he told me things were fixed, and finally 1 copy of ARR CE for PS3, since I wanted the irl items and the ingame items (I'm afraid to try to link it at this point for obvious reasons).

Yay me! That's the most expensive consumer produced opening movie of a video game ever!

You paid for the game. I'm tired of people acting like they're paying for early access. it's a FREE bonus with the game if you pre order. Yeah early access is sucking but get over it. This kind of stuff happens with every mmo at launch. Some have unplayable errors a year in. New MMOs aren't perfect. You can't handle it? Then wait a couple years.

Dude do you honestly think that this will be ok Tuesday at launch? Lets be real here.

You sir, may suck one, and I'm sure I don't have to explain what I mean by that. I've been trying to log on for 11 hours now, I got to play for 30 minutes. I got "early access" by default being legacy. I paid for the gain AGAIN after having already bought it twice. Stop making BS excuses for what has clearly been a huge miscalculation on the part of someone's cousin that just happened to know someone in SE to get hooked up with a job that they clearly weren't qualified for (i.e. math, since congestion of the servers seems to be the issue).

Fine, you're a unique butterfly. No one understands what you've suffered through and you deserve to be compensated for being made a victim.
Now do you feel better? I didn't think so. You know why? Because adults know that your whining doesn't fix the problem. They are doing what they can to fix the problem ( one that is common early in mmo lifespan) and it will get fixed when it's fixed... even if that day is a week or month after launch.

What are you going to do? quit? Go ahead! Come launch day you'll be here with everyone else... or... You won't. No one will lose sleep over it either way.

Actually, my FC probably would. This is literally THE FIRST time I've said anything about something being messed up, and hell, it wasn't really even a QQ post, I just simply pointed out that I've paid for a broken game 3 times now and all I have to show for it currently is a launcher with a pretty video. It doesn't help that I get to watch 2 other ppl in my household play that haven't put nearly the effort into keeping this game alive as I have.

Some people have waited a couple years- in case you forgot that this is NOT the first launch of this game.

A bonus is a part of a purchase. Early access is part of the product. Who is denying that is being ridiculous.

strong words for a level 21 conjurer. We realize you are very VERY new to this game, but we have been here for about three years. come back when you arent so naive

My account does not reflect it but I am also a player of 1.0...paid again to support the game due to high hopes and wishful thinking and a love for the series. That being said I whole heartedly agree with the previous statement.

No, you are all new as well and this IS the first launch of this game.

In every technical aspect, this is a completely different game. It's no different than Guild Wars 1 and 2 not being the same game just because they share a name.

It will have bugs.

I also had to wait a couple years for this game since I'm PS3 and the other crappy game was scrapped before PS3 launch so I understand and everyone needs to be patient. That's all I'm going to say about this.

And to the OP...even if this is the first time you've complained about it....this post is still a QQ post.
