Community Reps and Dev's eatiin BBQ at the Park?

So i am just curious with all the server instabilities where are our community reps to update us as to what is going on? Everyone is entitled to a day off however with 3-5 of you there should be no reason for this lack of communication. Are you guys all sitting in Golden Gate Park having a BBQ laughing at the situation?

Once again i hate to bring up the customer service aspect of this but whoever does your scheduling and maintains what you are or are not allowed to say needs to go get a new line of work. How in gods name when you have a brand new MMO launching can you have no communication with your userbase multiple weekends in a row. You did this crap in Phase 4 and now again in Early access. Sorry but this is not customer service.

You guys may be nice people but if you were my employees I would fire each and every one of you for not being here and keeping customers updated at least 1x per hour. You guys ever hear of VPN you login check email make a quick post and be done. This is not customer service I am sorry, this is also not 2004 when FFXI launched either. We deserve updates the same as those in Japan get it, and if SE cannot provide said updates let us know now so we can cancel our product orders for refunds.

Our community reps are just awful compared to Blizzards.

As much as I love a good community reps bash topic, they probably don't have any news to share.

Here's the thing about community reps: They can only give info if they have it to give. At this point, they may not have anything and any attempts to pacify the masses will only be met with vitriol and harassment. From this point of view, it's pretty obvious why they aren't saying much: there isn't much they can say and they likely don't want to just set themselves up for unnecessary abuse. I'm 100% for that. I'd stay away until I had something positive to offer as well in their position. This situation sucks for all of us, not just us players, but for the reps, devs and the whole of SE. I'm sure they're not just laughing it up, they're probably sweating bullets at this point trying to get things organized as best as they can.

So we are at least 1.5 Hours into SE work day and nothing from the reps or Yoshi after his apology updating us on the situation at hand. Mods I will continue to bring this up until you give us details of what is going on. I dont care if you have to get technical and explain the hamster fell off the wheel in the server room. You have BS policies in place preventing many from logging in, and no safeguards to remove AFK people from the server. Mods I will show you how easy it is to keep something updated while I am here at work 1x per hour or so for the next 3 hours I will respond to this topic.

The lack of communication from the community team is absolutely startling, despite the fact that lack of communication is one of their biggest issues and they know it.

The only possible situation I can imagine at this point is that all announcements and communication have been halted until someone gives the go ahead to make a massive PR statement about this whole thing. The clock is ticking 'til release... and if that's what they're doing then they'd better hurry up.

Roric whoever did this is a damn idiot, Honestly there is no justification. I deal with executives that make more money then I do or will in my lifetime probably, and honestly if they can handle the exchange server is down for 2 hours due to maint, or sorry sir your HDD crashed I need to stage a new one for you im sure everyone else here could handle the truth. It really is no where short of pathetic for the reps to be silent for this long when massive issues are going on. As I have said multiple times address us with the truth, if you do not have a solution yet then tell us, hell i would even settle for we will update you in a few hours as the update. But the reps or management that is not allowing them to update is a clear indication that people should be losing there jobs over this. 9 months we have waited SE has had pre order numbers for months, they could have easily taken those numbers into August, Added Legacy Numbers + 20% and resolved the issue by now. I really do feel the NA relms are way to overcrowded and that is our issue. If thats the case just tell us your getting more hardware and it should take 1.5 weeks to get setup and tested. Hell any competent datacenter would have live servers on standby for emergency bring those online. This really is not rocket science.
