This is starting to get annoying

After hours of waiting, I'm finally able to log into the damn game just to be able to Lord of Inferno and then lose connection.. Then when I try to log back in, I just get a Connection error twice. So I decided to wait some more.. tried to log back in just to be put into a quere, which was fine we me since it meant I can actually play the damn game now, BUT then it pops up saying The World if currently full, please come back and try again and kicks me out.

Yeah, This game is looking to be more and more trash by the second based on service received... and I used to love this game.

I got the connection error in the middle of a main quest, not nearly as bad as a dungeon, but frustrating nonetheless. As I type servers in NA/EU are displaying as down for me . . . again. When I can log in properly the world is full to the nth degree, and if not, behind some 200 people. Bleh.

So... anyone been able to log in and "play" yet? or still waiting?

This makes me REALLY worried about what's going to happen when the game is fully released to the public. There has been a major mis-calculation on SE's part about how many people were actually looking forward to playing the game that they haven't adjusted their servers to accommodate the number of users that have been trying to log in.
While this is okay on the first day 'cause there have been like NO companies ever in the existence of MMOs that have actually been able to completely calculate how many people would be logging onto their game on the first day, its completely unacceptable and irritating when the problem runs on for more than their expected time period.
I'm expecting a nightmare-ish hell once the game is released. This is unfair to us, who have pre-ordered the game and now are basically being told that we all have to take turns. What's more is that there are going to be a lot of people going AFK in-game so they don't have the same issues everyone else logging in.

Aaaand I'm sure alot of us are still waiting. I know I am >.>

I think I only got about 2 hours of actual gameplay today and my spouse got a few more then eventually got kicked out. I am definitely annoyed as well. Hopefully things get situated real soon. I have yet to try and see if I can get online again...too frustrated with all that's going on.

This is beyond ridiculous and embarrassing, WHAT THE @@@@ happened to waiting till everything was perfect before release.

Waiting until all the bugs are worked out? Whoever heard of doing something like that? They set a date, and launched their game as-is...

when i woke up i was like "ok everything should be fixed", no fix so i wait, hours later still couldn't log on, 2 more hours still couldn't log on, 4 hours later still couldn't log on., 4 more after that and we have now and i still cant log on, this has officially become the worst EA i have even been in.

not to be rude or any sort of entitlement, but what I find odd is on legacy servers (not sure if they did or didn't do this) let legacy members have priority over non-legacy members. Because excalibur (during the times when there werent any huge issues like this one happening now) the world is always full

I have participated in many launches, with that experience you expect these kind of set backs.......I have to say thou this has been one of the worse I've participated in......what bothers me most is that you failed once already, you would figure that this time around they would come with it..and this is up for opinion but I feel they have not communicated well...this is a good game, but don't get it twisted it hasn't achieved anything that any other MMO hasn't done....(again you failed already).......

And I know a few are going to cry with what I'm going to say now but.....Not wiping all characters after phase 4.....simply ridiculous.....the game is not out yet...and you have lvl 50 characters.....sorry that makes no sense......I hope they get it together, would love to have an MMO to play........but what's going on is disappointing.

It kills me that there is next to no issues for the Japanese servers though. Thats my only qualm. Balls, I still cannot login 1017. oh well

I was on queue.. #94 on the list.. and then I get server is full? What?!

As a Legacy member, I have guiltily thought of this myself, but that would honestly piss off a ton of customers, so it's probably for the better that it doesn't honestly happen. I also play on Excalibur. I got booted along with my husband around 16:00 GMT+1 (2?) I haven't been able to log in since, to no avail, here I am , after another nap, unable to log in. currently 3:24 am. No queue, I had a few false alarms earlier, like you, which lead me to a "disconnected" window after some time in the queue. I know they're trying to resolve it to some extent, but honestly, I just want to play.

Decided to give one more attempt at playing today, but instead I got the error "World Data couldn't be obtained at this time, Please try logging in later."

People are mentioning on twitter that Excalibur was just wiped off the face of the earth. Apparently it kicked everyone.

I gave a chicken egg to a guy for a quest, then I received the error 90000 message after zoning. Haven't been able to log in since. Hopefully they'll let me do more of this exciting stuff tomorrow!

I got kicked from the game about 10 hours ago while the last boss of a dungeon was at half health. Oh well. Hopefully this is all fixed by Tuesday. I feel bad for the employees that havent slept since early access went live, all this shit they have to fix. :(

Why cant they just fix it before the game launches? Or rather be "safe than sorry" because all they have been doing is apologizing and now the worlds are all full. I cant get in. Yet the only day we get bonus xp is today but I cant get in the game? So when do I get my bonus xp? Or am I one of the ones to get screwed over?

Gameplay = good, if you can get in the game. But whats the point spending hours to get in the game for 20min? Plus getting in the game is bs because you don't get a queue, you just get something that says the world is full, but no queue. There is no waiting your turn, hope to God that you click the button at the right time that's all. But no queue. BS

Ya, I've got nothing else to do, but wait for this to finally work. Read all the manga that I wanted too, played the games till I either got bored or beat it, watched some anime, and now I'm back to waiting..

you know what? If we get another free server transfer, I'm going back to Durandal..

OMG it's not like you kids are PAYING for it.. STFU and wait a few days... the game is not going to run off and die in 1 or 2 days... No MMO was 100% on DAY FKING ONE! Give SE some time to work out the bugs.. This is the 1st time FF MMO have NA/EU Server.. and there JP one have been up for 12+years.. So just wait it out. From the way your all QQing over a dam game that NOT EVEn out yet you think you never played a MMO be for. That's all i have to say for now on that.

Go over to the JP Server and wait the fix out and make a new toon and play there for a few days.. the game will still be F2P till Spe,9th.. so you have 2weeks still.

How does SE expect players to support a game they can't play? I've supported this game through 1.0 beta, 1.0 itself and the reconstruction, but if serious problems are popping up again, showing that it isn't ready, will Square just be repeating the past? Sure we will have some diehard fans that will wait forever until everything is fixed (I'm probably one of them), but what about everyone else? I think maybe the release date needs some adjusting and the servers need a real stress test. A lot of people are waiting to play this, it'll be a shame to screw this up even further.

While not being able to log on is frustrating and annoying, there's been many MMO's that didn't have a stellar launch. World of Warcraft for instance, had their servers down for near a week during vanilla while they tried fixing a major server problem. So saying the game is trashy because of 1 day of being unable to play, is a bit silly. Remember this game was rebuilt from the ground up just about. Completely different servers than the originals I heard. So we, as the fans and players, should try to have more patience.

While it can be frustrating having to wait to play due to server problems, ALL AAA MMO's have this problem at launch. That's not to excuse the problems that are occurring, but to show that there is a difference between theory and practice. Big difference between 10,000 people trying to log in at once and 1,000,000, and it seems as though nobody has figured out how to pull off a successful launch yet. Just be patient, stop complaining; you'll get to play soon enough.

I will say though, once do you get into the game, it is very smooth with little to no lag. Best stability in that regard I've seen yet for a launch. Of course, most it that is due to the constraints put on capping the servers, but still, I'd rather spent an hour or two trying to get on then have a smooth experience, then to get on instantly and have it take 20+ seconds to perform an action.
