[Suggestion] travel route betweeen Limsa and Gridania

At the moment the position of the cities is as follows:

Limsa Lominsa <-> Ferry <-> Some running <-> Ul'dah <-> A TRUCKTON of running <-> Gridania :p

The result is that Ul'dah receives a disproportionate amount of traffic, while Gridania is completely remote and almost deserted. This becomes quite serious when related to the Market wards, where everyone sells in Ul'dah, no one in Gridania, and only some in Limsa. Finally the traveling times to Gridania from Ul'Dah are already dispropiortionate. From Limsa they become really unacceptable.

Of course the ideal solution would be to implement airships between all cities, which would solve all travel problems.

In the case that such an option is not (just for now, I hope) feasible in less then biblical times, I would suggest to at least implement a river ferry that would go from Gridania to the sea and then to Limsa's ferry port.

That would mitigate quite a lot the problem and make Gridania more accessible at least from Limsa. At the moment the traveling time between the two cities are really excessive.

Yesplz. I think they got kinda lazy and forgot about airships.

Golden Chocobo, that can get you Knights of the Round and you use them to help figure a way to get there :o

I agree with ur sentence.
Actually, Gridania is cutted off from other cities, & the economy system of the state suffer from it.
I don't like the idea of depending form the anima to move there.

Agreed. Gridania has been really dead lately, people barely even go there for leves anymore.

That's all Grid is for is some of the crafts, it's like that on pretty much all servers, then when Ishagard comes out, the begging three will be dead. lol

Yeh Grid is good for 2 things:
1. Buying stupidly insane cheap shards
2. Selling items at a stupidly insane price.

If they added airships or chocobos that could cut my travel time by like a 4rd i would be happy to go to Grid a lot.

Yeah, grid would be my place to chill with an airship/chocobo. Not the case though, sadly. :/

I agree enitrely here and fully support this, I just finished posting the very same idea in another thread :P.

The world map itself even suggests its possible showing a large river / delta going almost all the way to Gridania.
It could be as easy as having one extra option presented to you at the gates in the ferry ports asking to which destination do you want to go to? or alternatively to keep it slightly more realistic have alternating ferries that change between the two other destinations, loudly announcing of course to where it is going.

Agree as well. Would very much love to see airships in the game.
