Yeah it's becoming tiresome and annoying why it's just NA/EU servers having all these problems whilst JP servers are running fine. Much more of this SE is going to lose a big fan base. I want to know what JP servers have that we haven't got or fire the NA team and hire some people who will actually get the job done and this error fixed. Three days early access on one day actually the game is online is how it's looking

Nope just only paid £51.99 for it instead lol, should moved to a JP server

Reason japanese servers ain't having this issues is because their traffic is alot lighter than it is on NA/EU servers so their having less problems

They just arent taking the JP servers as often. we get all the fixes during our play hours since its their down time. JP servers actually got patched last night to catch up to the first 3 patches we got yesterday. well see if they get the most recent set of patches tonight...

this is what it has been like for me since i first able to log on

I love FF and have been a fan since i can remember, but unfortunately this is extremely cumbersome. Specially because they are re-launching a game that didnt do well. I guess my expectations were just for it to go smoother :(
I DREAM A DREAM, for me to take time off work and be able to play, HECK just to do ember of bowls using the duty finder, has proven to be impossible...
Still supporting ES 100% and will continue too, will still be paying my $15 a month... Just feeling a tad disappointed, that's all...

Technically nobody "paid" for early access. If you waited to buy the game after launch, guess what? You would've been paying the same price.

Only reason you got early access is because you bought the game early.

i was told that the jp servers have been up and active for a year or two. the na/eu servers have only been up for a few months so thats why theyre working on the issues.

"Technically" they are advertising the early access for people who BUY the game now. And since they cant fully deliver that, you could "Technically" call it misinformation or false advertising.

My point being, you can look at this situation in a lot of different ways. Still, we just have to wait till it all works, or the people who don't like that idea can cancel their order.

this must be yalls first mmo launch its going better then any I can remember! yea 4th time down but 3 of the 4 were at later hrs of the day and they put game back up after. most games close after a few hrs of launch and don't open again until the next day and ppl paid for those games too. I say good job SE keep the fixes coming :D

I just don't get, since they KNEW that NA/EU would have more traffic than the JP server...why they didn't account for that ahead of time.

I'm done with the "I bought/ No you didn't pay for EA." junk. It can go every which way but the main problem here is.
With all the shit that's been abrewing. This doesn't look good for SE. After 1.0's bust, people are just going get reminded and assuming things will be as bad as then.

Japan is only a fraction of their player base. Yes the games are made in and for Japanese but the American and Europe populace that enjoys their games far outnumber Japan. We should have known this would happen. Why didn't we warn them >_< Ohhhhh the Lalafanity.

I hope you are kidding me? I probably made a lot more than you and of course there is always some little issue but 4 maintenance so far (3 hours each) for fixing absolutely nothing?
I remember 1 year day for day i was doing Guild War 2 launch guess what it was perfect almost no problem. So no its not normal to spend my first day of playing trying to connect to finally get a 90k error recurring. Imagine what its gonna be if NA/EU server are overload now when we will be the 27th...probably better not playing that day.
Still love the game but SE wasnt ready for sure.

P.S. Yeah its wierd that JP (127m population) got same amount of server than NA (canada 34m/ US 315m/ mexique 117m) and EU (739.2 million) together.

I just wanna play the fucking game, dunno bout you guys....

Not true. I am 1.0 member who does not qualify for Legacy. So, I already payed for this game 3 years ago. I payed $30 JUST for early access. So far, SE is just straight stealing my money.

I feel the same, pretty much wasted day and a wasted weekend. Yeah there are other things I could do in the game but that's not the point. When you can't even get in the game that you paid for to play, it's justified to be angry a rough launch is ok not a launch that cause the game to be unplayable at this point it might as well be 1.0 all over again =/ Oh well guess I'll try tomorrow after work... oh no wait I can't because I have other things I need to do...

Made an alt on JP server to kil;l time during NA/EU server downtime. Going to be fun to see which character can get leveled up first.

I also did the alt on JP server option to kill time..haven't played him yet, afraid to spend the time setting up my HUD and whatnot all over just to see I can get back on my main on Malboro lol. If they don't get it working soon, I'll just bite the bullet and play my JP guy. I suggest others do the same, the JP servers seem to provide Excellent connection, and I'm in NY...

SE said that it's going to expand the preorder bonuses for all the trouble.

There was like billions of mmorpgs before SC that did this. Almost every big mmo launch has some problems, if not all.
Im seriously suprised how good FFXIV launch is, and Im not kidding. Yes, there are maintenances, but other than that... it's not bad at all once you are in the game :)

I used to think "Its only Early Access" They are going to use this time to do final tweaks, I expected that, I expected congestion, I know we shouldn't have too. But I did!

I wouldn't say this is a good launch, these issues should have been addressed after the Beta tests, the fact that they are limiting login's so they can "Test" the servers, tell me that this is not a final product, they still have some serious glitches in the system. The game itself, is great, I have enjoyed the time I have been able to play on it.
But I fear this is going to get a lot worse, before it gets any better.

I would like to say, I would rather have a bit of lag then not be able to log in at all. FFXI servers where all in Japan, and I am sure that had a rocky start, but the point is, the servers where in japan, and that game was released with Dial-Up in mind! Just open up more servers in japan, get rid of the "NA/EU & JP" lists, and just have "world selection" with a index to show people how full it is.

Thank you for voicing my feelings! (I said I wouldn't complain anymore, cause I did it during all the afternoon on forum). I'm glad so many are now expressing their anger too.
