Well had to force log today because stuck at an instance load for a quest and when I tried to get back on 10102 and 90000. So glad all that downtime fixed these issues.

Just happened to me again as well, error 10102. It was fine early this morning though. I wonder what the heck happened.
yeah trying to do the lvl 30 ACN quest so I can work on unlocking SMN and I got black screen at the instance so I force closed the program and now I'm getting the errors to.
90000 > 10102 once again

This just happened to me, I was in the middle of a story quest but it wasn't loading properly and I had to log myself out. Now I can't get back in and I keep getting the same errors, I am on PC and my husband is playing fine on the PS3.

Same here. Zoned into Walking Sands, it boots me off the game.
Same on Behemoth.
Went to bed frustrated and annoyed that a portion of the game the wrote into the storyline (instanced stuff) prevented me from going past level 10.
More annoyed that everything you can do in the game (crafting etc) is gated by that same level 10 quest.
Figured... no problem... I'm a full day behind everyone in my guild, (who were able to wake up at 4am and get past level 10), but I'll start catching up on Sunday.
Now I can't log in.
And I hear the problem with instance is STILL not fixed... Why am I not surprised.
Restarting servers is not a fix. Please shut this shit down until stuff is actually fixed.
Just happened to me trying to go from Western Thalanan to Central Thalanan >.<
Now I can't log back in with my character anymore...

Yesterday I had to quit game via xmb because I was stuck in a permanent load screen for over a half hour. Now today I get on again and got a "communication to the server has been lost" message when trying to log in, error 10102.

OMFG, this is getting so freaking frustrating.... Everytime is the same crap, you play for a few hours then you get disconnected or fatal error and boom.... try to connect back and you see the freaking 90000 or 10102 error message.... WTF was the maintance done to begin with since this crap still not fix? I feel another EPIC FAIL like 1.0 coming up once again....

sad thing considering im having lots of fun with this game and how promising it looks to be affected over and over again with all this technical problems because someone underestimated how much ppl would be interested in playing outside japan...
next time put some more effort and importance in testing your servers before launch, 1 open beta for just a couple of days was really not enough, they should have planned it better and maybe tried to convince even more ppl to take part in this tests..

53 hours lost to 3102 last week, all day to duty finder yesterday, now this 20 minutes after logging in today...

I don't know why everyone is complaining, I'm enjoying this beta phase. Same, getting error codes for attempting to do required quests as usual.
instance same as id tag, was trying to start copperbell mines. had a duty finder fail after waiting 28 min for a party to get together. so instead of trying to queue again I thought I'd log out and back in to see if it would fix itself. Bad idea, since then alternating 90000s and 10102s. So help me Yoshida you're our only hope.

Thank you for your cooperation on the multiple maintenance correspondence.
With the 2 maintenances that were implemented with the NA/EU Data Center, we have resolved the 90000 error origin and corresponding characters. For the few reports that have been sent after the maintenance, it seems like it is a separate issue, and we will be working on them individually. Thank you for your cooperation with the maintenance.
And we are also currently working on the an even better way to optimize the heavy load of simultaneous access, heavy load on matching and the matching server features for Duty Finder.
Since it is hard to implement them during peak hours and that it might make the matters worse, we are carefully deciding when to do it.
So at Aug. 25 12:00 a.m. PDT, we will be implementing a maintenance to optimize the NA/EU Data Centers. At the same time, we will be implementing all the fixes done for the NA/EU Data Centers to the JP Data Center, so maintenance will be done on the JP Data Centers to get a smoother optimization.
We apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing everyone, but we please ask for continued cooperation for an overall stable environment. The Development and Support Team will continue to work hard for smoother play to our customers, and we thank you for understanding and for your cooperation.

I was going into Waking Sands when it hit, now i get both those errors unable to log in. Hope they fix it today or my character is stuck just loading into Waking SAnds.
I logged off normally at Hawthorn Hut yesterday afternoon and this morning I get 10102 and 90000.

I was just sitting in Horizon last night before going to bed. Woke up this morning after maintenance to 90000 followed by 10102. I wasn't even doing anything related to duties or instances!

Withdrew from Duty Finder and tried to queue again with a friend. Wouldn't let me, so I relogged. Big mistake. Both 90000 and 10102. :P
Yep, I had the errors before and FINALLY got Ifrit done after the maintenance, but then all I did was take the lift elevator up in the city and 90000 followed by 10102
