Extremely weird problem when playing FFXIV

So I noticed this extremely odd problem that I have never ever encountered before in my whole life. The problem is that while playing FFXIV and using my internet browser ( Chrome / Firefox) I keep having every single letter i type multiplied. LLiikkee tthhiiss.

Obviously this is really annoying and I have tried both chrome and firefox and the problem ends as soon as I exit the game.

Does anyone else have a problem like this and more importantly maybe a solution as well? I find it hard to play when I can't tab out and do some browsing or write some texts.
I have tried both windowed mode and fullscreen but the problem exists in both modes.

Razer black widow?

Is that a keyboard? Either way I don't have any razor hardware so no I don't have a razor black widow, I use a fairly basic and cheap logitech keyboard

was just curious because i have this issue with that keyboard.

I do use logitech mouse though, I ended up uninstalling set point. Seems to have somewhat helped, still happens randomly but not as often.

Anyway not a fix but you can try it if you want see if it helps. Sorry I can't be much help.

I see. And it's just with this game as well? Feels like such a bizarre issue that it's hard to find any info about it

That can sometimes happen on wireless keyboards if say it needs new batteries or the keyboard itself is out of range. But Im thinking here that with running the game and an internet browser at the same time, it could be putting some stress on your processor(s). Maybe try closing down some background things if you have them running such as Skype or music to see if that helps.

No, I have problems with ffxi as well. Not with any other games.

I think my problem is something with logitech / razer and motioninjoy but I'm not for sure, I've been struggling with it for a while now. It is highly obnoxious.

I don't have a wireless keyboard. Also this has never happened with any other game before and I have played more games than I can remember with this particular setup.

Still haven't found any solution to this

Awe sorry to hear that. I wonder if this game is just more demanding than the others that we play, but then again most machines can run XI..... I hope you get it sorted soon.

I can say after upgrading my GFX card and OC:ed my CPU a bit i still have these same problems. It's pretty much a deal breaker right now and unless square-enix fixes this issue I don't see myself resubbing.
