Error 1017 The world is full

What a surprise, we come back after maint with more errors and more nonsense.

its just a world restriction ... i mean theyre just gonna let people afk everywhere and nobody else log in ... then suddenly more will be allowed to join. Every afker plus us ( hopefully ) will then be active and crash the server again ... whiiii im loving it .. Beta was more fun lolz

This is rather silly I get placed in a Queue of 100+ people to be told the server is full.

This is a pitty, not even a queue just cant get in.

How on earth is anyone supposed to know when an opening is available to log in. And what happened to the queue system?

This World is currently full. Please wait until an opening is available and try again.

Well, as I am on the Behemoth server, which appears to be one of the most populated servers and has been repeatedly locked to new characters just in the hours since EA went live, I am not expecting to be getting in any time soon...

This is silly... we are paying for this; it is not beta anymore.

The is the most stupid error i have seens, to not get in the queue at all. Now i jst have to try to get in over and over again... i rather be in a queue of thousands of persons than that i have to click constantly in the hope i may get in over some hours or whenever that might be.

I don't get it why not just keep the queue system and just change the setting of allowence. We get larger queue but atleast we don't have this stupid nonsens of clicking each time.

What is this #### ? No queue and servers just went up, and i get same message on 2 different characters.

Im getting so annoyed about this early access, not really any excuse for this....

Well the problem is that there is no notice / eta when there will be an opening to log in. I'm also not getting a que. I just have to keep spamming my login button hoping for a breakthrough. They should just put you in a 10 minute que or something so that we get logged in automaticcaly....

Actually you can still get a refund for the game and you haven't paid a sub yet so no you haven't.
It is annoying but at least they are attempting to fix issues asap.

Hey. At least you got an early access and registration code. I paid cash money and haven't gotten sh!t. I WISH I could see the character selection screen. #envy

How am i getting in game then? it keeps kicking me back to the main menu and not in a queue. I've been trying for 20 minutes now and it's getting annoying.
We had 3 maintenaces already and now i can't even play? Why did they even give headstart if we can't play.

Also gettitng the same on odin come on SE sort your act out this isn't beta and been on this server since phase 3 beta been a paying coustomer of yours for over 11 yrs from ff11 get it sorted please.

If that it would be better over 3 days.. they should made the open beta longer, because this early access is more like a beta now.

All these issues and especially this one (being the most frustrating one) is just destroying my excitement for the game, its starting to feel like a chore getting this game to work.

there is a high login limitation at the minute and they will be gradually allowing more people to login as they know that the maintenance was successful on a bigger scale

Finally got placed in a queue...

Now i get in queue, for 179 persons on Odin.

So "we could not fix the duty server,so we are gonna run a stress test".And they dont feel like announcing when the stress test will be over , they just want us to sit in front of the screen and press the button.

This wouldn't be half as bad if they would just communicate to us about what's going on. I expected there would be issues and I appreciate that they've been working on it, but communication is severely lacking.

I don't mind emergency maintenance if they have to fix severe issues with the game, but they tell us: Hey maintenance is done earlier than we expected, sorry for the inconvenience... And you go, all right cool kupos to the technicians, try to login and this....

So now what!? We are supposed to hammer the login button until we bleed or??

If they don't urge to fix those issue , ff xiv will get killed " by reviewers " once again , they did learn nothing it seems .

Sure the " game " is cool and polished , but if they keep failing to fix those issue once the real release ( 1 day al half ) will come , reviewers will bash it down again


And ofc i do get this silly 1017 error on Cerberus , no queue nothing .

I think that is already happening, the point is now, to do something to try and save the situation....

Also getting Error 1017 on Ragnarok.

I think this is just a clever way of preventing players from actually logging in to discover more bugs.

This is starting to get really annoying. I got booted yesterday after a story instance, tried to log back on and got 10102 error. Then a while later servers went down for maintenance. And now that I'm awake again I cant log in due to the server being full. And we cant see any queue. Feels like I'm back in the 90's.

For a relaunch of a crashed game it's not looking good so far, this is honestly the worst MMO release I've been part of.

If there was a queue I wouldnt be upset, but having to sit there like a watch dog and hope to click just at the right moment is very frustrating.

Just put in a queue already, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, I dont really care, just give me a visual queue so I know how long I'll have to wait.

I'm also afraid this will carry over to the full release when alot of non-legacy 1.0 players will flood the servers, will we see the same poor implementation then? If so I will probably not be around here for long. This is afterall a sub-fee game, we should expect a service that shine compared to F2P or B2P MMOs, but currently we dont.

My biggest gripe with this error is how it throws you back to main menu. Why can't it just stay in the character select?
