Servers Capacity?

They say most servers have reached the maximum capacity? May I know how many people is that?

Dev, please give me an answer please. I am just curious.

The fact the game hasn't officially launched yet its servers are full feels like a bad omen. I hope they fix it before the mass of kiddies on the 27th start playing or it may be 1.0 all over again... Well not quite but it's possible

Not really a bad omen.... it means we are getting enough players to play the game. I still want to know what's the maximum, probably 4 thousands people per server max?

Id rather see full servers and queue's (the queue isn't that bad...) then empty servers

I'm pretty sure that there are more then 100,000 people in NA and EU playing the game.

im pretty sure they didnt use the max capacity of the servers yet

as for a server can hold up to 15000 players

but as for early access i think the max wont be more than 3000 - 4000

Im on Tonberry which filled almost instantly and from what I've seen there couldn't be more than a thousand players overall.
Game feels dead without people running around all over the place doing their own things. I want more of a 'city' feel when I'm in one.

I'm on leviathan and it had a queue all day. There are tons of people on this server, the areas I've been are swarming with people (not the level of WoW, but more than most MMO's I've seen) and it's not even day 1.

I read they will not be unlocking the locked servers any time soon, but I'm hoping this is not true, either that or they hurry with server transfers and allow everyone a free transfer (or limited time for free) because I now have friends across different servers because of the locks.

As for numbers, I'd say 4k per server is close. They have a good amount of servers, half of them locked, and I'm sure the other half getting full fast. My only concern is come Tuesday, what's going to happen when there isnt enough room for everyone?

Assuming they won't be lifting the locks, that is.

The average of four thousand per server is realistic. That would log about 200,000 active accounts worldwide. The fact they are full means each server has hit a maximum load. When the game goes live on Tuesday, this could be a massive issue unless more servers are added in all regions because 1.0 and non-EA players will be logging in and they will be the majority, so downtime is going to be expected for a bit. When combined, the number will likely be closer to a million service accounts and I doubt spreading 20,000 people per server would be able to handle it with just the 50 online now.

Relax guys, they've put popcount restrictions in place so only a certain amount of people can login to the world right now - whilst they are testing the Duty finder fix.

And don't complain about queues, because the restriction is based on world logins, so the process isn't able to get to the point where it puts you in a queue.

THIS!!! I am absolutely sure that SE don't bother as much with the rest of the world as they do with JAP servers

I bought preorder to get headstart, ummm, headstart does not mean I only want to access the character creation, it actually means I want to play, and in EU it seems every server responds with "The server is fully, please try again later".
Bad Bad management. Youd think they learned, even 1.0 had better headstart than this.

I rather just be able to play..
