I was DC'd due to the instanced server being down.. now I get Error 1017 (World is Full). I am continually trying to get in, no queue pops up, just shoves me back out. So lame..

Same thing is happening to me on Diabolos.
I'm having the same problem across all characters. It first started with my Main: Achasia Koromis World: Excalibur
trying to get in after maintenace so i tried an alt character that got in fine. then tried my main again and got the queue and then 1017 every single time after that. Maybe the servers just really really full...
rebooting the client a couple of times seemed to solve it for me. weird...

Same, on Excalibur. Error 1017, but my lodestone profile shows that the world is under maintenance, as does the launcher. Is it just (another) bug?
Edit: I should say, it shows all NA/EU data center worlds as still being under maintenance.
same thing here on Hyperion for about 30 mins.
hyperion...guess SE hit its 1000/1000 players on server limit...LoLs
Leviathan been close all day. Really wish the worlds would open up soon.

Hello, this is FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Producer and Director, Yoshida.
The maximum expected population limit is nearing for each World, and unless the current World simultaneous connection amount decreases, we are unable to open release the limitation.
In case we do release the limitation, there is a high chance that the corresponding World will crash or cause issues, and we are thinking that it will be difficult for us to release it for a while. We please ask you to consider playing in a World that has a low limitation.
We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause and ask to continue with your cooperation.
Yoshi P just made a post saying that servers will be full for awhile and to reroll on low pop servers...
