Actually there was, just not in game. It's on the launcher when you open FFXIV, all EU/NA worlds are undergoing emergency maintenance.

The servers will be down for 3 hours.

they fixing some stuff calm down :)

Can we get extra 6 hours again? Oh, wait...

they just gave a warning on Leviathan, zoned and got the 90000 error

Time for a 3hr break.

I had warning. Came to the forum and saw how long it is going to be down. Wont be back up until 11 AM PDT. Guess I have to find something else to do this morning.

Time to run around on a JP server while I wait. Or take a nap. Choices.

3 hrs really? so glad I went to be early to wake up and play all day now what was the point of that. Besides early access, pff if this early access gets filled with maintenances will not be pleased.

No warning in Balmung server either. Zoned in Ul'derp and then got the pop up for 90000 error. It appears NA/EU server lists aren't loading when I try to log back in. Now server status is down. =(

Everyone log in on Japanese side and play.

Japan Server are always up and running... it seem they pick some moron for the NA/EU to pay them a low wage for crap work. I hope that can be address as well in the maintenance.

3hrs seems excessive, to fix instance server...but maybe it fried, and needs to be replaced :p

3 hours? Oh well, it's a nap time for me now I had a blast.

Wish those damn Canadians would figure out how to run the us\eu servers...

I think you all not getting the point, fine it can not be helped, but we all Payed real money to enter this early access + the items, you dont expect something like this which has happened before in a previous phase to happen during early access, they really need to make this up to us early access players in some way or form, this is prime time for EU players and NA.

You can all say, guess i'll take a break, get something to eat, but really its not acceptable. Its not like they can extend it either.

More and More problems just seem to keep happening. it does not feel like a released game to me, still feels very much in beta.

Ahh well time to catch up on some Z's down here in Australia since it won't be back up until 4am then. Funnily enough I knew the maint was coming yet there wasn't a server announcement it was just BAM error 90000. Then all NA/EU servers appearing offline at once.

I had a bunch of RL stuff come at me this morning and had JUST sat down to finally play after being locked out with 3102 for most of P4.

Welp, time to go outside and do stuff for a while!

I'll expend my last post of the day (stupid level-posting system...) to say this: I would rather have the servers down and getting fixed (thank you SE), instead of up and not able to do story instances.

Plenty of warning. Was doing Sastasha and the warning to log off ASAP came on about 10 minutes in. We finished the instance and exited before the servers actually went down, so about 30 minutes.

So I am not allowed to do an all nighter and be absolutely screwed for tomorrow's work?

I recall people saying adding NA/EU datacenters would magically fix every issue with XIV in terms of connectivity >.>.

I work nights so a 3 hour nap sound nap ^^

I don't mind the maintenance...I just mind that it seems to be only the NA/EU datacenters sucking ass, while the JP are working fine. If this is an indicator for the future I'm gonna be annoyed like hell xD
