Many creatures literally grew in size over night due to the descent of Dalamud.

Small creatures before patch 1.16 were significantly smaller than they were after the patch, Dodos in particular. There was a lore explanation for the design change.

La Noscean winemakers like to harvest their grapes when Dalamud glows its brightest, it is said that the harvest during these times produce the highest quality wine.

(Ok that's not word for word but I think it's something close to that. What will they do now Dalamud has pretty much plummeted?)

The Roegadyn race sings out of tune.

Last weekend there was reportedly a drunken Elezen hunting Antelope Doe in the Black Shroud. He accidently performed an AOE attack and attracted the attention of six Doe at the same time. His reactions were slow and he was trampled to death mid hiccup before he could finish his ale. The End.

In 1.0, some mobs would run away from you after a certain amount of damage.

in 1.0 Eorzea, Mobs followed you around hoping you would AoE so they could roflstomp you for using an AoE skill while being followed

The world was destroyed and came back looking better than ever.

Contrary to popular belief. Lousoix is not the only renowned savior of Eorzea. A highlander named Hildebrand was also supposed to be a destined hero and flew into Dalamud to stop it. We've never heard from him since.

They say Elezen run like the fabled creatures 'Dhalmel', from a distant world known as 'Vana'Diel'.

The world was big, but then got cut into cubes, and adventurers must wait when entering new districts or place.

Thousand Maws of Toto Rak have a broken chest in one of the rooms you had to find the chest in in 1.0 o.o/ giving a nod to those that did play... is that a fact?

When Ifrit was first released, you could use the crafter's ability "Wrist Flick" to stun him from using Hell Fire, if done at the correct moment.

In the old days, when a bridge in Limsa Lominsa was broken, the Roe's would pick up a Lalafell repairman and throw him across the other side to fix it.
