Gobbue mount

Hey, during Beta 4 I saw quiet a lot of people riding on their gobbue.
Two of my characters from version 1.0 had the horn to call a Gobbue but I couldn't find any info on were to get it back.

Yeah hes in certain locations in every city. I don't know them off the top of my head but a quick "Calamity Salvager" on google will point you in the right direction.

Hehe thanks for the warning. I already found that out for the chocobo whistle. Wasn't quite a heart attack yet but pretty close :P

Don't remember where he is in Ul'dah, but in Gridania is is in the big central area of Old Gridania right across from the amphitheater and beside the mail Moogle. In Limsa he is on the upper level on the south side of the plaza that has Maelstrom HQ.

He is near the miner's guild in Ul'dah not sure about the other cities

He's near the miners guild in Ul'dah, just by the water feature.

Yup, there's one in every city. They're not always so obvious to find so you may want to ask around.

Ul'dah: Merchant's Strip - Steps of Thal (X:12,Y:13)

Where he is :

In Gridania : Just north of Mi'Khetto's Amphitheater
In Ul'dah : In front of the water fountain just outside the Milvaneth Sacrarium.
In Limsa Lominsa : Upper decks near the Aftcastle Aethernet Shard.

The bug that hit me and others in phase 4 was "unauthorized to summon mount". Basically I got the legacy chocobo whistle (moogle mail) and goobbue horn (calamity npc). I used both, which put them into the Actions and Traits window under "Mounts". When I tried to activate either action, from either the window or after putting it into the action bar, it gave that error.

I was able to use the Goobbue mount in phase 3, repeatedly, but the horn always stayed in inventory, which I thought was odd.

Anyway, hopefully they fix the bug or provide a workaround. I'll miss my goobbue very much (legacy chocobo, too) if it's permanently an action on my character that I'm never "authorized" to use.

That's terrible! :( How about your company chocobo? Were you able to summon that?

That may be part of the bug (or whatever it is). I didn't actually obtain my GC chocobo whistle until after final save, so maybe "officially" I never had one during v1. I didn't have a GC chocobo in phase 4 either, but I didn't expect to have one.

There were others reporting the same thing in the beta bugs section. I'm hoping calling my goobbue will work tomorrow. SE has been fixing lots stuff all week. If not, I'll put in another report.
