Pre-order subscription question

I am going to assume this is a no but I am going to put it out there anyway.

When you pre-order the standard edition of ARR, you get a fresh copy of the game which i believe entitles you to a month of play after launch.

I am a non legacy 1.0 owner. Is there a way to take advantage of this free month on my current account as i have no real interest in a second account? Or is my only option to just wait until the 27th and sub after the free 14 days i have been reading about?

As a 1.0 player the only way to receive the additional 30 days is by purchasing the Playstation 3 version.

The PC version will not give you any additional time, and pre-ordering the PC CE will not upgrade your account to CE. Simply put, you CANNOT use your PC registration code on 1.0 accounts. Give it to a friend, sell it, return it, or just don't open the game because it will be useless to you.

I have heard people say that if you register a copy of ARR you get the additional 30 days.. :\ ..But I am not completely sure myself..

EDIT: There is that also, that the game needs to be the PS3 version to credit the 30 days.. o,o'

If you registered your preorder code, you Get Early Access + Free 30 Days starting on the 27th.

Also, registering a PS3 copy to the same service account will grant an additional 30 days (60 days in total).

Your pre-order code grants you early-access from August 24-26(rumor 30th). Caith Sith Minion and Mog-cap. DOES NOT GIVE 30 days, that is a registration key bonus. Which if you are a 1.0 player, you WILL NOT be able to use if you purchase the PC version.

The 30th is quoted from the no active service account page, Early Access players have until the 30th to register their game keys.

Yep and on the FFXIV Product Site it says * The pre-order bonus code will be valid until December 31, 2013.

Notice how your image says Early Access and not pre-order bonus. I believe Early Access is from 24-30th to accommodate for late deliveries, but there has been no confirmation.

Uh, no my statement is correct only for 1.0 players.

If you only register the pre order code, all 1.0 players still have 30 days of free play time up until 27th September - its already been stated by SE.

The copy you buy (e.g. the code that has not been used yet that will be in the box) can be used for an additional 30 days of play time but only if its a different version (e.g. PS3 copy if you bought a PC copy).

I will had to dig up this official statement. I would of been celebrating.

Can't find official statement and this would of been MAJOR news so just going to chalk it up on misunderstanding and false.

Does this mean that I need to re-key a registration code--from my physical product when I pick it up from GameStop on the 27th--before August 30 or my client locks up after the 30th?
I'm sorry for the n00b question--I've never had EA before on a FF MMO.
