Collectors Items?

I just registered my early access code and noticed I'll be getting my minion and Cait Sith cap. However, the game I registered was the new realm reborn collectors edition. I noticed there has been no mention of receiving these items yet. I didn't get a special code for these items neither, only for the game. How does one receive the collectors edition items? Maybe the registration code I have is unique and for a collectors edition? Any ideas? Maybe they'll automatically be in my Moogle mail box? (This is the digital download of the collectors edition by the way)

Everyone who bough digital, regardless of how you bough it (Except PSN) will get their CE registration code on August 27th. You won't see the CE items until then.

did they bring up anything about the psychical copies of the ce?

OK Cool. The code i registered was the pre-order code i got from purchasing the game, then an early access code was given to me after i registered the pre-order code. Is there going to be a completely separate code i have to register for the CE items?

grr no, Ive been hunting for a physical copy of the CE for a while but their all sold out and outrageously priced online

I believe so, I think the distributor you bought the game off will supply you the retail code on the 27th or close to that date.

Is a registration code. Physical copies have them in the box. Digital copies have them emailed to you on launch day.

i pre-ordered the CE from the square online store, and got the pre-order code that i registered so i could get the early access code, and i registered that as well and downloaded the client. Weird that they would automatically put the moogle cap and the minion in your mailbox and not the CE items as well. You'd think the code they give you would reflect that and automatically send them to you.If it's a code that will be given later, im guessing you will have to register the code under your service account

Registration key is what you actually pay for. That don't get shipped until your sale is finalized and that is always on launch day. Until then you get the choice to cancel. They can't give out the important thing for pre-ordering. Then there would be no reason to keep the order.

hmm you think ill be able to register my old onion helm item from the old collectors edition again?

ah i see. thanks xethan. i looked at my email a little further, seems that the code i registered is titled the realm reborn pre-order bonus (guessing to play it early). Then on launch day ill get the CE items code and code for the actual game.

If you have a 1.0 CE. You did not need to buy this new CE... You automatically get your Onion Helmet + all new pre-order items. If you a 1.0 player, you also did not need to buy the game at all. You already get it for the PC. Only needed the pre-order bonus.

** The Collector's Edition digital upgrade offers customers the ability to upgrade their standard FFXIV account to digital Collector's Edition status via the “FFXIV Service Center” website that is scheduled to be opened at the launch of official service, which then grants the in-game bonus items included with the Collector's Edition. Customers in possession of the Collector's Edition for either version 1.0 or A Realm Reborn will receive these Collector's Edition items without needing to purchase the upgrade.

yeah sorry they actually called me up and told me they were taking orders for it that's how i got mine.
