Fury of the Storm FC - come game with us!

Fury of the Storm is a new FC on Excalibur, looking to invest in XIV as a proper replacement for the crack we've been on in WoW for more than 6 years.

We are a laid-back and comfortable group of people that are mostly interested in just having a good time with each other. We were quite ambitious during our WoW days as a consistently effective raiding guild for over 2 years (many of us have known each other for 7 years or more), but we always put the fun before the kill. We are looking for people that are interested in forming new friendships; as we look to endgame possibilities, we'd love to see peeps that are available for nightly group play around the 5pm-9pm PST timeframe for hunting primals and whatnot.

Since all but one of us are new to the game, we'll be making sure to make the most of ARR's new pacing and content delivery, so expect to have plenty of noob moments while we acclimate. We are serious in our ambition to be a successful FC. Invest in us and be rewarded.

I am interested in applying to your FC. I spent 3 years in the WoW hardcore raiding scene at a US top 300 world top 1000 level. I had Realm first achievements for Heroic 25 Lich King, (H)25 Nefarion, (H)25 Sinestra (H)25 Al'akir, (H)25 Ragnaros (pre nerfs) and (H)25 Spine/Madness of Deathwing. I also posted several world top 100 and a couple world top 50 Rogue parses on WoL in current content. (Not bragging just not sure how selective you guys are). I rolled WAR as my main and am new to tanking but picking it up fast I think. I am currently unavailable mon-thur. at your specified times as I go to the Gym on those nights (No "do you even lift bro" jokes pls) but was wondering if you'd be willing to give me a trial, and bench me until my schedule possibly changes.

Wow, what a pedigree, Kiral! I must admit, we were never a top guild on our small server on Zangarmarsh, and while I've always held firm the belief that many of us could have played at that level, we still resolved to play at a level that was never more concerned with progression over people. We've always been about community lol's, and while I know most of us are definitely going to be giving endgame hell for a while to come - we are not likely to be working for competitive progression just for its own sake. We've had a saying over the years: We won't be the first, but we certainly won't be the last. There's also another saying we've found to be quite true about our group - Fury of the Storm: wipe on the trash, kill the boss in a flash! :D

You are most welcome to join our FC - we would love to have you... but I understand if it's not a good fit. We will have fun way before we have progression. Sometimes it comes together, but fun will always come first!
