Relic Reborn Quest Question

Have anyone receive any more news beside its easier and hamlet not being one of the requirement for this quest? Really eager to find more information.

I'm sure it'll become available soon.

I remember reading that we will be able to start the quest at release, so I'm assuming it will start the same place it did before. As for the new procedures... we won't find out until people who go through the quest post the information.

In my case, I'll be starting the quest for the first time for Gae Bolg.

Hopefully they give out more information unless they want the players to find out by themselves. I tried looking at xivdb.com to see if they have it listed under the quest, but I guess that is still under construction.

Nah if not will be easy to find Data Brokers.

What was special about relic weapons? Besides being stronger then normal. Was there a amazing one like the horn or shield

Looks cool, it has a special purple background, good stats, endgame weapon, and transform you into BEASssT!!

The relic weapon is the best in the game as of right now. However I disagree with Nosiahk. Owning a relic does not transform you into a beast. Learning your job and playing to the best of your ability turns you into a beast. A relic just helps you if you are already a beast.

You'll need a relic for bahamut right, or did they change that? I remember them saying Relic is a requirement for Bahamut.

However, I don't know if this applies only to the armor or if they really meant "ALL" job-specific equipment.

That's an awesome find and interesting. However, I doubt obtaining the relic weapon solo is out of the question. If it is possible, hmmm, there would be a problem.

I doubt it'll be that much easier. Square has always made it incredibly challenging to obtain anything worthwhile. Having played Square games for quite some time, I am personally not expecting this to change...

That being said I'd love to be able to actually progress towards the Relic quest myself as well, it would be nice if you could at least have a realistic chance of obtaining it if you work full time <3

Unless I'm mistaken, so far we still don't where AF armor sits in terms of power compared to what will be available at release and what will be found in the labyrinth of bahamut or the crystal tower. If its an entry-level weapon to end-game content I could picture square making it soloable. Though, I would find it somewhat sad since it would take a bit away from the "glory" that comes with those weapons and may cheapen the effort that 1.0 players have put to get the same item.

We'll just have to wait and see, either way I'm getting that damn spear this time lol.

Yes, he's at Hystmill, but can't activate the quest or from where I left off. Probably have to finish level 50 job quests?

I have 3/9 hamlet seals that now sells for 100 Allagan Tomestone Of Philosophy each. I saw that NPC Auriana sells "Radz-at-Han Quenching Oil" for 900 tomestones, idk if this item is need for relic or not. I wanted to get a darklight body for smn but ill wait for more info about relics.

Just found out that the Relic quest won't be in place til official launch.

The relic quest cannot be acceptec before finishing the main story.

I just did that and got offered a quest that led me to Rowena in Vesper Bay (the guy you get dungeon access from). After finishing that quest I was told that I could accept the "A Relic Reborn" quest now, but nothing happened afterwards. I should mention that I was only missing iffy extreme in 1.0 and I did not get any quest again so far.

Quest is a bit different, item-wise at least so far. For MNK it is now Wilding Cesti w/ 2 Savage Aim materia (III) attached.

No more info from there, though, as I had a friend craft that for me.. annnd he disconnected and couldn't get back on tonight.

Warrior relic quest is glitched. Says to bring Barbarian Bardiche, but also, in objective to bring Sanguine Scepter. Conflicting report. I got the Sanguine Scepter (since that was on the objective), but didnt activate

i can confirmed that after speaking to gerolt.. nothing happen though i completed the weaponsmith of legend.. What's wrong? Im PLD btw.. any advise?
