The Elite is a community for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. There are many changes for 2.0 some more drastic than others but goals for The Elite remain the same; to have a very active community with a competitive edge. The Elite has been established since the release of 1.0 and still a very active community despite the game's shaky criticisms. Now an active community in 2.0, the competitive edge has shifted into end game content and looking for applicants that can help fulfill the community's goals. Currently, recruitment for the community is now open.

NOW accepting "hardcore" and some "casual" players who are looking for a competitive endgame free company. We are looking for players with endgame experience.
Each applicant must have the following qualities:
- An applicant who does not value item rewards over anything else;
- A skillful player who knows how to play his or her main class and is constantly improving skills and levels on other classes (Training is available);
- A player who is self-sufficient and willing to dedicate time to certain aspects of their character in order to help the community;
- A very active member who can help out the community to reach its goals;
- An applicant who is mature enough not to start drama or arguments;
- Someone who is not taking the community for granted (i.e. personal gain and leaving afterwards);
- If you do not have these qualities then no need to apply;

- Highly active teammates that are there to help you and guide you to your personal goals;
- Website with all the latest news and insider information (Most not made available to the public);
- 512 member (Though we will never have that many members nor do we plan on it.) Teamspeak 3 service for events;
- Extra events outside of game like Fantasy Football and Podcast (Provided by the staff of Zantetsuken);
- Knowledgeable members and a mentor ship program to push stats and game play to the limits;
- A Hardcore 7 day a week group that specializes in competition and a higher echelon of dedication;
- Legacy and New players welcome, so if your new you'll have experienced players to help you on your path and if your Legacy you'll have like minded players to share ideas with;
- Master Crafters that provide gear free of charge for players trying to catch up;
- Drama free environment;
- A sound structure for successful runs and a casual social side for not so hardcore members to still gain the full benefits of being in a EG community. (Events for casual members are non mandatory and only meant to train, gear and promote efficient time use during game play);
- Smart phone app to keep in contact and chat even when AFK (If you want to be involved);

Looking to fill slots on our 3rd Coil team (also part of 24 man alliance content upon release).
*9PM-12AM EST;
*7 Nights a week (until completion of turn 5 and the team can clear it within the 1st 2 nights);
*Must be End Game material and know how to listen;
*All events here are mandatory (sorry casuals);
*DPS classes will be checked to see if damage is where it needs to be;
*Tank classes will be stress tested;
*Healer classes will be stress tested;
We are only looking for hardcore players with a skill set that surpasses peers.
