Harvesters of Sorrow are recruiting (FC)

Hello Excalibur!

We, the Harvesters of Sorrow are looking for nice people to join us in our journey in the land of Eorzea. Why the name you may ask? Because someone decided to strictly use song titles while we were brainstorming for a name.


A brief description

We are a small and fresh Free Company on the Excalibur Server. We are a mix of Legacy and non Legacy Players coming from all around the world. Most of us have a strong background in MMORPGs but we welcome veterans and beginners alike. Our goal is to tackle all the game has to offer in a not too hardcore but also not too casual approach and we are looking to expand our member pool to around 40 players to keep everything organized.


We come without baggage

We believe that the main part of the game should be to have fun. Everyone has a life outside of the game (to some degree at least). We will not have attendance ratings, DKP or entry barriers with applications. That does not mean however that we will not tackle the hard stuff. We will run events all day long from small to big and you can jump in whenever you want as long as there is space and you have the time to do so.

Hello. I have a question. You posted that you are looking to expand your FC to 40 members. Do you plan to exceed that, if so, how far?

That depends on the general activity of our members as well as the player requirements for future content.
We do not plan to become a giant company with lots of overhead since we believe that it will keep our atmosphere more familiar. We rather have 40 people that know each other well and fit together than 300 acquaintances that barely talk to each other outside of their close circle.
That said, we want to build a healthy and active community and if we can only reach that goal with a higher number of players we will definitely go that way.

hmm interesting.... i am more of a solo player but i like the style of keeping it small and know who what where and how. at the moment i am more focused on crafting then pve. but if your up to having me ill try ya all out . mean time ill be chillen like a villein. holler at me names Reaper Strife

I would be interested to join too, mostly since you really would like to keep it small and simple. I like it :) i prefer smaller Companys so that i get a chance to knowing all ppl around me, instead of 400 strangers. I am a little shy and more calm, but i hope that is okay. I will keep an Eye out for you, when ever i get access to the server without seeing "the World is Full"

Hello, I'm interested in your FC! I'm looking for endgame, but nothing hardcore. The stress free endgame piqued my interest. Although my character is 50 and a legacy character, I'm relatively new to the end game and still have a good bit left to do. I hope I'm something you might be looking for!

We are in need of 1 - 2 Healers and maybe a tank for Primal, Relic and Bahamuts Coil progression. Should you be interested please whisper me ingame. As always no hard feelings if you are new to the content we will teach you everything there is to know. Gear can be farmed together as well.

heyy heyy there My name is Allegro Vates (ingame) , yeah names different on here cause someone has stolen it :( im level 50 bard (quite a decent bard if i dont mind saying so myself), and im looking for somewhere to call home more or less , and your free company seems to be something im really liking the thought off :D , i left my old FC due to stress and just arrogance they called them selfs a "helpful" fc , they never done anything to help anyone , so i left,
