Just wondering because if we had an Auction House this wouldnt be an issue.

ITT: december?
My retainers have been up since the last maintenance, which is becoming more and more common.
They're working on a way to keep the retainers up over maintenance and crashes.
You can't assume that just because XI's AH didn't crash often that XIV's wouldn't...sadly.
I think I've seen the AH go down about twice, however that was during the DDOS attack I believe.
Again, those were FFXI developers. These are XIV developers. Clearly the XIV developers have generated an insane amount of errors in their coding across the board from the ground up. You can't assume the difference in crashing is due to the difference in style. In fact, it's probably not.
Uh no. Largely not the same team until the panic button was hit. Which is about the time the crash frequency got cut by 80%
Crash/Reset are basically the same thing. They have done it alot more than any I have seen, that was the point in my posting.
Yes i think we all noticed that the FFXIV Devs shouldn't have even touched(Or been paid for that matter) an MMO style play with all the bad points about the game and not taking good points from previous games(Not just 11 but the basic Final Fantasy series). The game was clearly rushed and it is very noticable.Quote:

I'm not saying I 110% hate it like 90% of posters on here that only have low level jobs, having a 49 CON and crafts at decent levels I can say I have tried most if not all aspects the game has to offer currently. Yet I still play because It keeps me entertained. I just hope they better the way the game is par say.
Guess I imagined how WotG and a lot of XI content got drawn out for over 3 years (2007-2010 btw) because of XIV's development which they've admitted was because they had to focus on getting XIV ready for release, my mistake.
I still see the wards reset more than crash lately.
The problem is once the wards crash it take a long time for everyone to realize they have crashed and to go resummon their retainers, people who are offline are just SOL. The whole community suffers tho because I cant go buy what I want and you cant sell it to me.
Cant remember the last time the wards crashed, its been a while.
I've noticed my retainer actually being up in the battlecraft wards on Cornelia for a week or so at a time before it gets reset.
The wards on Cornelia crashed last night and then 1x before that like a day or 2 ago, other than that i have not noticed them crash as much as they used to. Then again there is also not as many retainers are there used to be either.
Me either, every time I need something for the past couple months I hop to the wards , go buy it, and go about my day.not saying the OP is Full of Bologna......but I think he is full of bologna......and wants an Auction house...
RIDE ON AUCTION HOUSE WANTERS!! To the AUCTION CAVE! We must plan our next scheme! One day this land will have an Auction house, and we shall be the ones to usher it in my brethren.....
I'm on Karnak and the wards here are very stable. My retainer been standing around twiddling her thumbs for at least 3 weeks; actually I think maybe much longer than that. A long time anyways.
