Beta phase for this weekend starts July 5th and ends..

O..emm.. gee!!!

They said they'll say before it starts and that it's delayed because the Duty Finder's not quite ready. I'm looking forward to randomly cross-servering some of you soon!

This is supposed to be the last test of phase 3 which is an extended test that will continue beyond the normal weekend hours.

Probably the best news is that after this test is over, phase 4 will start! :)

I haven't seen it stated this is the last test of phase 3. The LftP said we were half way through B3 now, which insinuates there's another three weeks to go.

Then 1-2 weeks off (scheduled, at least).

Then B4 starts... I'm hoping running 24/7 for two weeks until 3-5 days early access then launch on 27th.

I'll be impressed if it sticks to the schedule!

According to this outline, we're on test 3 which is the test for the duty finder (however, we're on the fourth week of phase 3). Because the ending date of this test has not been announced, I'm assuming that this means the test is going to last longer than normal, which suggests that maybe they've consolidated test 3 and the final test.

Who knows, we'll find out this weekend :)

This was my prediction from another thread the other day after the new Producer letter was posted (on July 2). At first I was like wtf - half way? Then I thought about it and maybe it works? I would now predict maybe ending on July 14 or 15. The application for world transfer deadline is July 15. So it kind of makes sense since server moves will take place for phase 4?

Same thing I was predicting ;) Timing for other phases + launch gets goofy if it goes past the 14th/15th.

Half-way can also make sense as far as if you have an odd # of times.. so 5 weekends = 4 weeks, that kind of thing.. without saying too much. :D

All I know is that I am exited to the max! I don't care if its a short test or not either way it rules!

Last weekend was Test3. This coming weekend is test 4. SE said that they're still working out the kinks for Duty Finder which did not make it into Test3 and will be avail during Test4.

So, either they'll be combining both Duty Finder and original outline for Test 4 or have a Test 5 to finish off Phase 3.

In the recent letter Yoshida says we're half way through so we have one more test after this one if they're going by the roadmap.

Thanks, I missed that post in all the excitement! It does seem like they're consolidating #3 and #4 in this fourth week.

Wouldn't it be consolidating #4 and #5? We've had 3 48-hour test weekends already?

From the looks of the beta forums, the Duty Finder is ready to test. They still have not announced an "end time" yet, and said they will do so after the stability of the Duty Finder is confirmed.

Semantics me dear! #3 was supposed to be Duty Finder, #4 the 'always on'.

It seems like they put the servers on for week three just to sate their ravenous Beta-testing population, rather than for any prescribed testing, as the Duty Finder hadn't been prepared in time.
