Point Allotment
Guys was thinking since lots of people are hitting lvl 50 and moving up to differents jobs and many times they change jobs as they change their gears why not setting up an easy way for you to set your Point Allotment also. Like i know it gives you an option to re-apply them thats smart but just imagine doing that everytime you change your job it just not smart to go one by one all the time we change our job. To be honest i dont even bother to change it but it hurt me really because i cant perform better in other jobs becuase my Point Allotment is set to my main job. But it will help a lot guys if there is an easy way where players can set up their Point Allotment as you can set up your gears and action with a hit of a botton or macros.

Better yet I prefer it if SE would remove physical level all together and just give stat allotment points based on ranks. This way you can have optimal stats for the class you're currently playing. Its a nightmare for a full mage stat character to try and rank a melee DD class without stat conversion traits and even then it doesn't help much.

They will bring back the traditional allotment. No doubt about it
-
anything but "Auto-Allotment base on jobs", this system is childish and bore me to death
I rather have the current system but keep my allotment for each classes, auto-allot them when I change classes
-
if they go and auto give stats then they may as well get rid of some of the gear also as many classes have multiple types of gear for tanking/ evasion which work correctly when you set your stats yourself. them setting the stats for ya are just one more way to be a cookie cutter class.

I personaly like allotment as is
However......I think instead of assigning points as we do now(1 point, even if it doesnt give us +1 attribute)
We should be able to assign +1 attribute at a time and itl deduct the correct ammount of points for it
that alone will speed up the process alot.
as for people who hate having to redo it multiple times....well we made that choice when we decided to be mage and meelee(i say we cuz i gotta do it too)

They should not remove physical level, they should use it for something than point allotment, big difference.
It could be for racial skills/traits (physical level means inner growth after all), or something like that. Other ideas are welcome too.
But yes, as long as it is NOT auto-allotment when you rank up, I'll be happy.

i want it to be base of class that way i can switch class without worrying about my point :(

I would love to play a mage job without having to mess around with the points system it is annoying, please change it ^^

For being a casual game the point system really make it hard. No where in the game does it tell you that this class need this or that. I'm a hardcore gamer so i can easy say ok my Pug needs Dex--> STR ---> VIT if i want to solo i use more Vit but i wish they take it out and just be auto with your class. which mean that some race be better at a class then others lol.

I also think they should get rid of how the Stat Point Allotment works. I know I'm not the only one who wants gear to be a little more helpful with its stats. There was already tons of good points made in this thread why they should get rid of it, I'm sure they will.
I like Nakiamiie's Idea if they do keep Physical Level for something. Have some kind of trait that would work for your character no matter what rank you are currently on. It might be hard to balance that also, but who knows. There is defiantly room for some thinking there.

I would hete if i had to wear specific geat to get specific stat boost. Thats annoying and ridiculus. I like the current system, and it is one of things that make this game very enjoyable. However indeed 2 things neeed to be done: Better descriptiopn of which stat affects what, and bigger influence of stats on gameplay
-
take out PL and give points for ranks. its what we voted on so lets get it done. Also i want to play a mage and a melee ANYTIME i want with the right stats. its stupid having STR on a mage it makes zero sense.

I don't mind having a point allotment that players can control so that they can be individual (to some extent) as to how they "build" their character.
However, they need to fix the current system so that points allotted actually work.. Aside from VIT raising your HP and MND increasing your MP pool the other stats are pretty broken right now. On my THM i have 17 DEX and can still hit mobs at the same rate as a MRD or LNC in party with 100+ DEX. Some stat allocations appear to have a diminishing return on points over 90 (I've read this a few times over the forums), meaning it is pointless at this time putting points in most stats past this level.
