Community team! Help! No Beta Emails?

all of us 1.0 players that still haven't gotten a beta 3 invite are sweating tobasco and razorblades right now. can you guys please please please take a second to let us know whats up?

Have you tried signing in to the launcher with your SE accounts? That's all I did. I did not get an email.

Im right there with you. I am a 1.0 account holder, but no invite, just a weird cryptic email saying that I qualify for it and that an email w more info would be sent at a future date

The launcher is only available to people who have already been in beta.

I did, it says my account has been cancelled. which i assume means that I am not in the beta yet.

When I look at my options list for FF XIV, I see the following -

I'm not sure if it matters or not but my account was active when the servers went down.

Do you have something under "cancelled accounts" or just nothing?

i didnt apply untill recently with the same Email as my SE account, so i dont think they sent me one and i missed it.

I checked, all i see if the first option (except my date is Oct 1/10)

this lack of communication about the beta from SE is really turning me off this game.....

i have like my ORIGINAL beta cancellation..... from back when it launched.... but thats it.....
i swear if they didnt re-invite me because i tossed V1.0 beta out im going to be P.O'd

Ok, I have a thought! It's not one you'll like but it could be an explanation.

They've told us we won't be importing 1.0 characters for this first weekend of the test.

So, perhaps they aren't inviting the influx of 1.0/XIV account holders until next week when they expect to begin the import testing?

I hope I haven't said too much. :O

But yea, it would be nice if they could pop in and say something.

I thought it was only legacy players that were guaranteed a spot in phase 3. I believe all others had to apply and hope that lady luck was on their side. I could be wrong, but that was my understanding of it.

If that is the decision, thats fine. Ill be slightly pissed about not being in the beta, but at least i will know. As of right now, there is nothing about invites for phase 3.

SE, please dont ignore people just give us info. Thats all we want.

Not what they said in the roadmap, on the forums or in the email i received, apologizing for FFXIV 1.0 and sayin they want us to come back and give ARR a try.

This is a quote from that email under "BETA TESTING"

" Beta Testing

FFXIV: ARR is currently in the beta testing stage, with plans to begin the third phase of testing on June 14, 2013. All players who hold a service account from Version 1.0 have been granted access to the beta test.

We welcome all players from Version 1.0 to download the beta client and see the myriad changes in FFXIV: ARR.

* Additional information regarding how to participate in the beta test will be sent at a later date. "

Ahh, I did not see that. Thanks. I would guess it may have to do with them not having all of the character data from 1.0 imported yet. We'll probably get more news once they return back from E3.

The thing is, if you guys are able to post here, your account should be active. My understanding is that the only people who can post here had an active account as of September of last year. Unless cookies are keeping you here. My main char shows an end date of June 30, 2013. They have continued to update that as the months have passed so that people don't get locked out of the forums. There was even a time when they didn't update our "end dates" in our accounts and some people were locked out of the forums for a few days.

This is very confusing.

I wondered if it is because they aren't importing 1.0 characters this first weekend, that maybe the mass 1.0/XIV Service Account holder invites would go out next week. But still, no matter what the reason, I cannot understand why they would have everyone on pins and needles like this.

If codes aren't going out because

1) they have technical problem
2) because they are waiting for next week when 1.0 imports will take place
3) because they will be auto attaching them to existing accounts
4) because they are waiting for the new Lodestone to go live
5) because they want to stress test the mass-download
6) the person who is to push the button fell asleep at their chair

Whatever it is...... they really just need to SAY IT. There are umpteen threads on this in both sets of forums. I really feel for you guys. I want a PS3 code but I'm still not without Beta in 9.5 hours.

It seems barely any NA if any at all have gotten the emails. Supposedly they are going out later tonight. I'm just spamming F5 on my inbox.

Also, apparently if you download the ARR trailer from PSN Store it enters you into a chance to receive the PS3 beta key. I hear this is for NA only.

you know... my email dinged just now.... and i was all "ERMERGERDFERKYERS!!!!!" and opened my email........ Viagra ad. Screw you suspense.

ikr? I've gotten some stupid crap too.

im canceling my FFXI account if i dont get into this beta... ive left it open to help support this games development even though i refuse to play adoulin(worst excuse for an xpac ever).

***edit*** There also seems to be a problem with the keys in that if you signed up for an NA key, they may have sent an EU key instead. So for it to work, you have to register an EU account

that email went out if you were already in a previous beta.

I think I am SOL. Back when Beta Phase 1 started - I didn't realize the email had been sent to my Junk folder. I happened upon it at work when day and was like "OH CRAP" - and by the time I made it home, my junk folder had emptied itself (it has a two week auto delete on it) and I lost my registration code.

I never found a way to get it back so I'm fairly sure I'm stuck. I hope it does not exclude me from any early playing post P4 though.
