I must say it's very nice to see the Dev's submitting are concerns to the FFxiv Devs. In some we got some answers and other we got that they will be submitting some for us.
I am very happy with how these forums are going. Even though we do not get a lot of info really fast but hay what do you exspect if their still designing the game. SE doesnt want to give info if its not concrete, but it seems when they do have it they give it to us.
So not sure about you guys I'm very happy how fast were getting info. Would i like it faster? YES, but if stuff changes they do not want to give false info.

I just want to know why after 6 months they don't have a concrete plan of changing this game. If it takes 6 months just to conceive an idea, how long will it take to develop that idea? That is my concern.

Yoshida already said the plan is in place for years to come, but he won't show us the long-term schedule before he knows what his team can and can't do. Until then we get the schedules 3 months ahead of time.

I've seen ur posts some are ok and i even agree but anything in regards to timeline and development timetables is just at this point absolutely ridiculous. Until all the hotfixes and and preparations are set with the new battle system and other systems and content being planned don't expect very much from a broad content perspective.Quote:

They've told us that their plan is to come up with a plan. They haven't told us exactly what is going to be happening with the systems in this game. Either they don't know, or they know and aren't telling us.

So they give us tidbits on what they going to do to the game but no hard details. So the only time we'll get info is pretty much when their going to release it.
Companies, I believe any info will be vaig, with the exception of some conctert titbits mixed in with it. Who really knows, not I..lol -

Joking aside, there is a lot of work to be done and with most MMOs, you don't make or implement every feature in a day or two. Last I heard, GW2 still hasn't started work on PvP and its due out later this year or next. Likewise, I too am curious about what the final product will look like. -

Great they talk to us :) unlike a lot of other games i no of few MMOs they just locked the threads and don't even give anyone an answer then when you contact them in game they tell you to contact them threw a forum which they keep locking every time you post the same problem. I think we should just be glad that the team of SE are talking to us and gaving up information on what there working on.

I really like how the dev team has been replying to forums, banning people and closing threads, as well as offering answers more and more. It really goes a long way to make the forums feel "heard". I also think it is another huge step for SE to strengthen their customer relations!
