We'll be choosing a North American / European server to transfer to. We think that if we stay on Ridill, the server population will largely be non-English speaking. We're waiting to see what additional information Square provides in the upcoming weeks. The final server list may include additional non-JP Legacy servers from which we might be able to choose.

Well so Far I have been looking at other forms and alote of RPers are going to Balmung, and all the other is see most of is Sargatanas then Excalibur and very little on Hyperion. So I thank to myself others from other regions May go to NA Servers. Which Would be a good start for me never had a linkshell so meeting new people would be fun.

I think the linkshell and myself are going to move to NA. As much as i would love to stay on Ridill i think it would hinder us in the long run. We are till taking votes but so far looks like Hyperion or Balmung.

I agree with a lot of the threads I've been reading ─ we ought to try to keep the Ridill community together. Like many others, my LS also started on Selbina at launch and was untouched by the server merges in 2012. My initial reaction to the recent news was to stay on Ridill.
I think we all have a lot of sentimentality for our current server (myself included), but unfortunately, I don't think that staying there would the healthiest choice for our NA/EU-based communities in the long term. Over time, JP and NA/EU labelled servers will become predominately segregated. I do not expect new English-speaking players to roll characters on JP servers, and vice versa.
If the goal is to keep the Ridill community as robust and active as it's always been, I think our best chance would be organizing mass transfer to an agreed upon NA/EU Legacy server.
Maybe when we're all on Ridill for beta phase 3 we can broach this issue?

After taking feedback from the linkshell and speaking to some of the other players on Ridill, we have decided that Hyperion meets the criteria we're searching for. Also, it sounds like a large portion of Ridill is planning to go there. Hope to see you guys again on the other side!
