E3 JP and English Letter from the producer Live: Same content or different?

This is mostly a question for the community team.

Will the Japanese and English letter from the producer live broadcasts feature the same content, or they'll actually have different stuff? :D

It'll more than likely have the same stuff. Why would it be any different from all the other live letters?

I don't know, probably because the other live letters never had a Japanese and an English version?

I think the only difference between the japanese and english live letter is this.

The Japanese ones will be in the same format that we're used to with translations provided by a community rep on the forum.

The english one will be similar to how it was covered in the Vanafest 2012 event.

Exactly. They're just going to be translating the same information at E3, just like before. Only now, we don't have to wait a month for an official translation.

I see no purpose in bring separate information to the same event for different regions.

Maybe I should have specified "exclusively" instead of "mostly". Fact is that we don't know for sure, which is why I asked those that do.

Not to be a downer but the dev team has 100% of the info. This would just be dividing whatever percentage they were willing to bring to E3 (of 100%) into two separate servings.

If Naoki Yoshida were to figuratively have all the info that was to be shared at E3, he's hiding it behind his back in two hands instead of one.

If Bayohne were to figuratively have all the info that was to be shared at E3, he'd be hiding the same amount with six tentacles vines?

So now do we take guesses as to what side will present what lol.

Guess one, Summoner will be shown off during Japanese live letter while they'll save showing off Scholar for the English live letter.

This is probably the most excited I've been for E3 in a long time.

Two new Final Fantasy titles
Possible new info on Versus XIII
Possible new info on Kingdom Hearts 3
Info on next-gen consoles

I actually took a week off from work just so I can watch all the stuff as it happens! :P

But from LIVE Letter #7, based on what Yoshi-P said was coming, partially showed, avoided showing (several times), and caught himself before saying, I'm really looking forward to E3, and the beta phase 3 soon after.

Oh, I think he mentioned Bayohne, too. ;)

Seriously, I'm certain there was not this much excitement leading up to v1. (I have a lot of PS3 friends.)

Japanese side - Scholar.
English Side - Summoner/Arc...not even gonna finish that.
English Side - Details on the Storyline.

While the rest of SE's presentation are bound to be interesting, and other thing like Dark Souls 2 are gonna be awesome. FFXIV is the title im most looking forward to this year at E3. All the pressure guys, pressure is just gonna make you work harder! Huzzah!

Bayohne will there be translations posted like during a normal live letter for those of us that won't be able to understand? I assume so since it is going to have different content in it than the second live letter that will be in english. I doubt you or the devs/Yoshi P want the non Japanese speaking players to be left out.

Man if there are more classes/jobs to be announced I'll pee myself. We know scholar and summoner are going to be shown and talked about. So that can't be the special surprise being talked about.... can't wait.

I wanted to offer an update regarding our plans for FFXIV: A Realm Reborn at E3!

The "battle content" that E3 attendees will be playing will be... (*drumroll*) a special version of the Ifrit battle! Attendees will take on a version of the battle against the Primal Ifrit (of course, it'll be tuned so it can be challenged by new players, so don't expect super hard mode Ifrit lol).

If the party emerges victorious, each member will win... a Meteor Survivor polo shirt!
