I would like to ask, if that Soundtrack is for JP onry, or will NA and EU players be able to buy it too? I really really woul like to get one! Pweeease SE! Pwetty pweeease!

In English (the main parts):

The Soundtrack with Mini Dalamud will be available in EU.
A annoucement will be done later - so pls wait.


But no idea about NA - maybe wait for the NA Community Reps. to post.

I'm hoping the Distant Worlds blu ray will be released via Arnie Roth's label here in the states, or through the Distant Worlds website like the "Returning Home" DVD.

Subscribing to the thread in case of new news in the future. I would love to buy this soundtrack but I'd want to buy it for NA because I always get confused with region-locked formats and I don't want to spent 50 bucks to import a brick.

the odd thing to me is that on amazon.jp the dont mention the minion bonus, on other websites they say that its only the first print that will get the minion. and amazon just dropped the price by 25% so im kinda curious if they did that because they are out of first print already

This is cool. I was wondering if that was the case.

Some music DVDs I have that include bonus tracks generally can only be played as a video, unless I take the effort to rip it and convert it to an audio file. :D

The price is kinda high when you include shipping charges.. I'm paying about the same getting it from amazon.co.jp at current exchange rates so think I'll just keep my pre-order there unless amazon.com picks it up..

edit: looking at Rizon's post now it makes some sense.. I also will get it mid August instead of beginning of September importing it myself :rolleyes:

Pre ordered mine. This will be a JP import with a scheduled release date of 9/1/13. Comes with Dalmud Minion and remastered End of an Era video. As stated before if your PC has a Blu-Ray capable device you can download an MP3 version.

It's released to the Japanese public on August 14, but also take into account the shipping time it takes from Japan to other countries (roughly two weeks). So Sept 1st for NA is actually about the same, give or take a few business days

Pre-ordered. I will listen to this more than the ARR soundtrack I must admit.

Preordered! The price really is about the same as Amazon JP + International shipping... wish we didn't have to pay so much darn merchandising markup and tax. S-E store shipping always seems high to me also. But I still preordered it off the NA Square-Enix store. Really looking forward to this soundtrack. :)

The blu-ray in the NA store is clearly marked as a Japanese import. Why would you want to import a disc to Europe that was already imported to America? Wouldn't it make more sense to import it yourself using cdjapan or amazon?

$50 works out at £32, Y6668 (from Amazon.jp, inc. shipping) works out at £45. Depending on S-E's shipping, it would have been cheaper to order from the US.

I've just ordered it from Japan too. Murphy's Law has a habit of making itself happen to me, so hopefully my EU buddies will get an announcement in the next week or so from the EU shop selling it for £25...

Oh, I see. The price for ordering to America from amazon.co.jp comes out to about the same as ordering from SE if you include shipping from both respectively. I guess I would have expected NA SE to have crazy shipping prices if they did allow orders from EU/AU.

Anyway, I hope everyone who wants it can end up getting it.

Pretty much what I was saying so not bothering to order from the NA store just keep my amazon jp order.

This is annoying. I go to log in as part of the purchase process, but I don't seem to have the right password. I know I was able to before since I pre-ordered ARR. So I hit forgot password. I get a password reset email which sends me to the Square Enix Account Management password reset form. Enter the email again which sends me another email that sends me to a page for resetting my password for logging into the game and so on (as in the one that has/can have a token attached to). This isn't the password I'm having problems with!!!! grrr

I so wish I could preorder this right now... my only problem is due to a bad financial situation I'm looking for a new place to live and I don't know if I'll be in a new place in september or will still be at this house I'm currently in... (*sighs* bye bye house that used to belong to my deceased grandmother and where I've lived for 20+ years of my life) If I move anytime soon then I'll preorder it... till then :( /cry

What use is it ordering from JP, won't all the ID3 tags be squiggle? ; ;

A good program should be able to retag them easily enough. The version on the NA store is an import anyways according to the link.
