Hi, I'm an existing player and I're recruited some new friends to join me to play FFXIV. Let's say I'm moving to 'Server A'. Question, can my new friends join me in 'Server A'?

If they're new to the game completely then yes, they can just make characters on the server you're going to. If not, and they already have characters and you're wondering if we'll be able to transfer servers come 2.0, then I'm not sure.
As far as I know it's not like Final Fantasy XI where you were given a random server assignment. The only thing that will keep them from joining your server is if it's full before they can join, as far as I know.
You should be able to choose the server in which you wish to play.
I meant to say if I play with my current 1.0 character (not create a new character), will my new players friends be able to join me? Or there need to be some time before they can migrate to my server.
They should be able to join any server as long as they are new or are creating a new character. If they played 1.0 as well I don't think they'll be able to play with their 1.0 character on your server.
I said: "Yes, new characters can join any server."
Therefore, yes, they will be able to join you.
Existing characters are restricted from importing their character to a "fresh start" server. But new players can start on any server, including the ones that existing players can join.
I'm sure the "fresh start servers will be clearly denoted, so that players will only join servers with more established characters / game economies if they desire to.
In the end, if your friends are new, wouldnt it be funnier if you joined them on a new server instead? (what im doing) After all, on old servers, there will be few lowlevel people, it will be harder to find parties to play with or linkshells that accepts, and considering the economy, they wont be able to buy lowlevel gear and such from the AH either, remember atomos? ^^
you can't move old characters to the new player servers, unless you start over. But if you want to start over yes, the economy on old servers will be as messed up as it was true. As for not being able to afford starter gear that won't be a problem. Personally if I had friends join my server I would probably give them starter money to help them get into a pre-established economy.
Or with a max level character, you can help craft gears for those friends, give them a small bank roll to get started etc.
The economy will be just as silly on a new server...it will just be different items that are overpriced.
And there will be plenty of new players on existing servers:
1. Not everyone leveled all classes to max
2. Not everyone who is considered an 'old' character is level 20 let alone 50. (keep in mind ANY 1.0 character can't be on a 'new' server....that includes my friend who got to level 20 THM and quit)
3. We have spouses, partners and RL friends who all are planning on joining us
4. Not every 'new player' will go to a 'new server'
Dungeons and FATEs are also going to have level sync and seem to be a bulk of the partying experience so you can still play with your low level friends and help them get XP no matter what level you are.
