If this blog post does not show you how hard these people are working to make this game what WE want this game to be i don't know what will!. I have to add that the black character there looks really cool. He reminds me of Zell :D:D:D:D

It took me a little while to figure out that you were talking about this!

The colours are amazing and I'm happy to see some nice new hairstyles to play with =D

Ah, so at first I was worried how the sliders would be like for height and stuff. Cause I'm very particular in how my character is made. But now looking at it, it's easy to deduce that the values work like this in comparison to the previous version:

0 = Very Small
25 = Small
50 = Average
75 = Large
100 = Very Large

I've also nearly decided on how I want him to look from Beta Phase 2, but the highlight color was throwing me off cause highlights work differently than 1.0. But now I see there are purplish-red options.

So stoked.

I welcome more customization options, as well as potential LOLs when you run into someone with bad taste or a good sense for visual comedy.

i dont think slider for height, will do much; might be something like between 5,5-6,5ft...well not for lals.

Most likely, the sliders are better for "in-betweens" of the 5 toggle options from previous versions. Nothing less or more than the lowest or highest, respectively.

I want more Eye choice style ...i want Asians eye styles for my miqo'te i love asians eye styles :D

I really hope people go easy on the tats.
Specially with those way to obvious colors.

But I agree, there're going to be far too many chickabo tats around at launch, I can imagine a lot of people will end up regretting them >.>

We should be able to change those once we get the hair/style salon thing. . . . or at least I hope so, as people tend to go crazy with dayglo.

Won't be added for a little while after launch, though, if they do it at all.

Eh, afaik Yoshida confirmed we will be able to change our hair style/colour already. . . . aaand, hmmm *scratches head* I'm rather sure something else too, but too lazy to dig for that info now. Definitely a positive on hair. Oh! Facial hair too, that's it. Fingers crossed for tattoos as well.

Yeah, I know that the hair and stuff had already been confirmed, I'm just not too sure on tattoos and stuff ^^ If he hadn't mentioned it before I'm not too sure that they'll add it. Methinks some RPs might rage if they can up and change tattoos whenever they like =b

A box with a tight fade in a Final Fantasy game..... My prayers have finally been answered. :cool:

it will be hilarious if tattoos are permanent and we have a ton of "old" players who regret getting those angel wings on their lower back... (or baby chocobo on their face)

My character had tats, but I wanted to make it subtle - white on pale skin.
I'm hoping I can achieve that again.
