The way lalafel runs is ARR...

Their new running and walking cycles were definitely a pleasant surprise. I love the throwback. So much more iconic than the waddle they had.

I used to like the little butt-shake run but this one's fun as well.

I was so pleased to see walking Lalafell instead of shuffling Lalafell now ^_^

I think I might be the only one who doesn't like the new walk cycle... Guess I'll have to learn to live with it. I'm glad others enjoy it.

It's weird for me all i see is robotic movements. Yes it's like taru-taru. However taru's had smaller feet so you couldnt see it much. But i'll wait to test it to judge it more I guess :/

To me it looks more like a soldier marching. The knees don't bent O_O

I loved my lala, but tbh I thinking of changing race (I think we're getting that option? I haven't actually checked for any hard evidence) or rerolling mainly because I was getting sick of being so tiny and as for the new walk...I'm just not that keen on it :) each to their own though.

This^^^The way lala's ran was a HUGE reason in My race selection(that and My moustache!).I am seriously considering a race change for ARR.

Not a big fan of how their arms move when they're running but otherwise I didn't mind it.

Honestly I was sold on the little faceplant the guys did in character creation Q_Q; haha

I love the new walk cycle for lalafell. I hated the old one so much from the first time I saw it in 1.0 alpha videos. I'm so excited they changed it.

I'm actually considering a race change because of this new walk as well. Glad some people are enjoying it, but it doesn't really make sense as Lalafell have more proportionate bodies as opposed to Tarutarus; who were stumpy, hence the waddle. No? Iuno! Maybe it'll grow on me...

Instead of saying "d'awwww!" every time a 1.0 Lala bird-skips by, now we'll all be going, "Oh god don't laugh don't laugh don- *snicker*" whenever a 2.0 Lala goosesteps by :P.

After watching the gamepad video, I've been seriously considering making a lala in ARR. I'm not really big on the walking motion, but your jump is absolutely hilarious the way your arms and legs spread out, lol.

I love the way Lala's run now and I love having Elezen hairstyles which is why i'll be a Lala in ARR ^^

They seem so much more joyful when they jump. Everyone else is too focused on actually jumping >_>.

It's a bit funny looking, but... meh. Llen will always be a catgirl, so it doesn't bother me too much. If the lalafell players like it, then I have no say.

I can't imagine they'll ever bother with a toggle for it, so I hope you learn to love it, for your own sanity.

Where ever the fisher cat goes a line of 8 Lalafell will be just behind her.

Gridania, Coerthas, Mor Dhona, Ul'dah, Limsa Lominsa, no where will she find peace....

My Lalafell had knees in 1.0, she is a formidable fighter too, don't make her walk like a baby or a knee-less abomination! :mad:
I'm totally serious, I hope they don't stick with it. :mad:

Go play FFXI if you want Tarutaru, we are Lalafells! We have knees and know how to walk! :mad:
