Truth is: Bahamut just wanted to save the land from the curse of decay that Louisoix laid years before and that has been slowly eating all of the beauty from Eorzea for centuries.
Louisoix tried all he could to stop him and imprison him again, unwilling to let him save the world, despite his very old age.
And we helped him.
PLOT TWIST
The changes to the areas outside Limsa and Uldah look fantastic. Even the city of Uldah itself seemed grander.
ummmmmm we all know the plot twist was Rowena actually working for Nael van Darnus and using our totems, headdresses, seals, and runestones to protect the Garleans from the Primals and summon Bahamut
