I wouldn't worry so much. Once you get your beta code, start downloading the client and get to the beta forum, I'm sure you will be able to wait a couple more days.

I keep checking my email every 15 minutes, and refreshing the forums here alot.

Gridania should be enough to hold us over when we get it, however, I really cant wait to get back in Ul'dah tbh.

Not going to happen most likely. They plan to showcase the benchmark during the media tour. I don't think it will be over till Wednesday at the earliest. Since they plan to showcase the benchmark, it would ruin the surprise and it will take away the point of showcasing it if they just release it.

I imagine the beta forums would be exactly like these forums because just about everyone got in due to legacy.

I can see it now, people complaining about questing, the grass, and backpedaling all over again.

Maybe there will be topics about changes from changes from alpha to beta. I wasn't an alpha tester but I can imagine there will be alpha testers in the beta test and if something good in alpha wasn't in beta, I hope they'll be able to mention it.

Background color change, does make a difference in people's attitude. Maybe that's what we need a Offical Forums makeover! :P

Like if there's annoying colors ( that you obviously can't change), it could absentmindedly put someone in a bad mood without even realizing it.

Idn, that's just how I see it anyways. Maybe I'm just saying stuff in hopes the general attitude of the forums will change :P.

A darker forum theme would be awesome. Especially on the mobile site. I can't count the number of times I've blinded myself trying to browse the forums in the middle of the night.

don't get too wound up, the first phase of beta the servers will have limited uptime.

I'm looking forward to it too but I mostly want phase 3 so I can begin progressing my character too

"At first" then time will increase when they know what they are dealing with in the Beta test. By the end of Phase 1 servers could be up 24hrs depending on how well the first phase goes.

Give me beta fourms so we can at least talk about things and have server names. :)

If you go off by Bayo ( in the next few days) that was posted on Friday, ( and since today was Presidents day in the USA, they probably held off on the invites till "possibly" tomorrow ( well today my time lol.)
