Hate filled Forum is full of hate

Is it just me, or do 90% of the people in this forum post soley to *** about one thing or another?

Granted, some of the people who are posting are just being critical of things they see in game that they don't like, or they perceive as a problem, but few of these people seem to do no more than whine in threads with dev tags, rather than offer any kind of constructive criticism. Then you have the obvious trolls [Removed by Moderator according to the FINAL FANTASY XIV FORUM Guidelines.] who abuse their forum priveliges just to piss people off and drag down the player community as a whole.

So to the people who are being critical for the sake of improving the game: Keep doing what you're doing.

To those who are just whining: The game is not going to improve any without offering some kind of constructive criticism that gives the developers some idea of what you expect this game to be.

SE won't lose much just because you quit, and the player community will be all the better for it. Most ppl are here really need to grow up that very true but this is not the real world sadly so they wont and don't care. I wish most ppl who does hate FFXIV would just leave to rift or something it's not like they playing FFXIV anyways so why are you here wasting time go play something else. But sadly they wont and i guess when they do fix the game they still going to be piss about the game matter what SE does.

you can give them everything they ask for and they find something to pick at.

i've been saying this a good while. after my post it gonne be filled with ppl saying" we hate this game because we want to play it." personally if they REALLY wanted to play it they would just play it. I say just cut yoir loses cuz personallt i'm also tired of seeing it. how if the game gonna get better of you just cry about it?

you wanted quests, you got them. o wait they not good enough.... yet they are just like every other quest in games.
you guys wanted nms ok you got them.
you guys will get auto attack chances are ppl gonna *** about that too saying its mindless like WoW is.

no one will every be happy. Just cut your loses and lwet those who do want to play the game and is playing the game, and likes the game but know it needs improvement, improve the game.

It needs some improvements but there is fun in it.

Be happy with what you do have, instead of worring what your lacking. SE is fixing it, just give it time don't worry how long it takes. if ppl quit then ppl quit. who cares.

ya tell me about it, when i saw open beta i'm like ok you really think that in 2week this game would be 100% really? ya right lol ppl still got it and know what there getting in to but they was too in love with the CE version then saw how shit the game was and how lame the CE and now it's all trolling and hate on the game.

I agree with the OP on this one. There are some people on these forums who do come across as people who wish to ruin things for others.

However, I propose something different from tackling them head on.

We have as much responsability to make these forums a fun, constructive place to put our views across. With that in mind, why dont we? If we see someone who is clearly trolling, ignore them, but perhaps focus on "that positive" comment you see in the same thread.

If everyone who reads this (me included) tries this for 24 hours, i garentee you will see a difference in the forum community

server stability issues mixed with ppl stuck in ffxi rose colored glasses is what really happen. SE cancled 3-4+ weeks worth of beta time due to server stability. They couldn't run the game if they put in stuff. then game wasn't recieved well not its getting fixed keep you panties on. It is getting fixed,

actions speak louder then words. And tbh I saw no promises like that. But i much rather see these actions then making promises. Yoshida is doing it right. Never making a promise. Bit ppl are complaining he is to vague. So like said no one will be happy just cut your loses. Let se fix the game. No reason to cry over spilt milk.
And hating a video game isn't justified. You didn't like it spo don;t play it.

it's nobody's fault.but most players who bought this game have quitted since game launched.
the population of this game had 2k~3k in this first month per server.
and now i think it's only around 500 ppl or even worse on each server.and half of
them seem to afk or the rmt player with garbage name u can easily tell them.
after six months later every server is still with few heartbeat. they are so dead and chilly

no matter what game must have hater and their supporter.
but i have never seen such much hate to a MMO.

They are magic numbers but they aren't far from the truth, just logged into lindblum and uldah was pretty dead compared to what it's usually like.

Or, I could continue to "complain" such as my inherent consumer right allows - dare I say - demands me to. This isn't spilled milk, this is a complete and utter disaster and I - like so many others - want the game to succeed and thus will continue to voice my opinion till the game is fixed. Who are you to tell anyone what is justified or not in that aspect? Drag people down because you like it? I can't help but be amused by that considering the guy in charge says the game sucks, they don't charge us for it because it sucks and the player polls all point to the game populace wanting drastic changes because the game sucks. I'm just a voice in the chorus screaming for it to be fixed before its too late.

Stick with the status quo all you like but I, being a person who wants to have the game succeed, will point out its myriad of flaws any time I feel like it. Not because I "hate on it" or whatever garbage lingo you want to add in their but because I want it to succeed. That will only happen if there is a constant reminder by the bleeding player base that this ship is sinking faster than the titanic.

Defend the game all you want (which is an asinine point of view) but you better expect a lot more vitriol ahead.

Vac what I read isn't ppl wanting the game to be good. Its ppl who shouldn't play it. Nothing fixed so far has been good ebough for ppl. So yes they are crying over spilt milk. I seen games in worst shape then ffxiv. DCUO comes to mind as that games events are even late. I also kinda see the copy paste it took 7 vids but honestly I seen worst in dcuo.
I can name tons of games they didn't do well both mmo and single player rpg. One that comes to mind is two worlds 1. I didn't go on every forum hating on it. I just didn't play it. If you wanna see real lack luster casting effects play they game.
I know the game has its flaws, but they are getting fixed. Right now is a time to stop complaining about how this game is "bad". Now is the time to be constuctive. Leave you mindless hate on your fansites.

And just take what SE adds. Just learn to deal or don;t play.

Like i stated you guys beg and begged for quests. They give you quests, you guys complained about the quests.

This game will never be anything similar to ffxi. FFxi was never casual player friendly only recently.
All you guys are screaming ffxiv = easy mode, are not helping things.
learn to be constuctive and stop saying the same darn thing 20 times. go look up two worlds to see a really bad game. At least ffxi is nothing that bad.

And this all comes back to the old saying, "Arguing on the internet is like the special olympics.. Even when you win, you are still retarded." I do tend to find myself caught up in some discussions but 90% of the time I just stay away and indeed, if I win I still feel like a retard because I got sucked up into it. SE has adults employed and adults that practice discernment. Do not worry about them too much and just ignore the trolls. People just need to stop responding to them. Trolls gain strength from the reactions they gather to their stupid-arsed posts.

are u living in a perfect world?
imagine that ppl stop compaining and there always has hater for every game.
the comlpaining wouldnt become less unless this game becomes worth to play.
and this game should be compared with international grade mmo like wow, ff11, rift,eq,tera and etc.cuz Se meant to do.

Well at least we can take solace in the fact that once billing begins most of the trolls will be kicked out because they wont be able to troll for free anymore.
