I guess beta release date announced next week and launches the week after. (18th-22nd)

Well, my birthday is on the 25th so it looks like it might be a nice one this year :)

Live letter V on top of the dev commentary video on top of the benchmark on top of beta? Anyone else picturing a sandwich? XD

When will SE Give out realse date of ARR?

Hmmm so probably on the 21 there will be the next letter from the producer then after that beta. So I assume because I'm not entirely sure how long he will be spending in each place. Bleh, I'm just going to go with the 21st for something to happen and look to the blog for updates until then.

I give him at least 3-5 days for the abroad trips..then coming back to do a live letter. That man's gonna need some serious coffee with all the jet lag and workload ><

Yoshi-P needs a thermos with the ARR logo on it.

He is taking off to a around the world trip...... then after that will be Beta... (Sigh) I was hoping start Beta next week or ;late next week so I can kill this slow time passing by.,..


As for the Lalafell... OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love his look... I hope that design in on Dunefolks because I just might change my hair now.... IDK... Man Phase 1 Hurry up!!!! I am ready to go...

I hope his trips go by fast because I am about to die here waiting with all this juicy pictures and information...

I didn't expect the beta to start till the week of the 18th. Seems like my prediction is close to being correct.

A Beta start next week seems very unlikely now :( Should I reactivate FFXI? :(

They should probably change the forecast start date for the beta, doesn't look as though it'll be starting in the middle of February by all accounts. Maybe the very end of, but unless his next letter is early next week it doesn't look promising at all. What a shame.

So if the benchmark is being released *just* before beta (presuming they are on schedule for mid-feb, and the benchmark is still in test /tweaking phase), what is the point of running the benchmark if we are practically in beta already?

Same reason there WOULD be for running a benchmark at all. To know if your computer can handle it before you spend one~six hours downloading the game.

Its possible youll need to login to the benchmark and it will provide results to SE.

I wouldn't consider those new hairstyles, for they already exist for one of the races. The Lalafell has an Elezen male hairstyle, and the Elezen has a Miqo'te hairstyle.

Life is so bored without FFXIV? lol

The "media" tour if it lasts all week were looking at Monday the 18th for the beta, and the Beta invites can come Next week as well as the Benchmark for next week. So I still feel there's at least something to looking forward to next week. Monday the 18th is still "mid-Feb" but it's at the tail end of it. 20-28th= End-Feb.

Edit: Or some of us can be in the Live Letter Part 5 like he did the last time with the Alpha Version.

Maybe hes giving beta keys to game sites or something to get some more people to try the game that wouldn't normally.

Going to go ahead and complain about the first char creation pic. Due to the super long necks that's a creeptastic bend that neck can do. Hope its not final. =\

And as for the "why bother with a benchmark when beta is same release time" well some people who have never played before and won't be in beta can test their machines against it. Its not all about the legacy members after all.

A few weeks is nothing when it comes to XI. :/ But it's up to you.

I love the new hair on the Elezen Female. Glad to see some more of the new hairstyles.

I wonder in beta phase 1 and 2 if they will be limited classes available since the other cities won't be open according to the pdf.

imho Beta starts on the 25th

- 10th Feb: Yoshi leaves;
- 16-17th Feb: Yoshi might be back (assuming from the destinations he has to reach);
- 18th Feb: Live letter, Beta announcement and benchmark release;
- 20th Feb Beta forums live;
- 25th: test starts (almost in time).

It would be nice to get a rough idea on what is going on from one of the Reps or Yoshi-P himself. We know what's happening but little of the order it's going to happen in. There are many scenarios that can be speculated but are fruitless without some kind of official word.

That's not a rough idea you are asking for. Lol. He could be delayed a day or three for whatever reason on his tour and get yelled at for being wrong. Can't win giving any kind of time figures really. We can only be patient and wait for "soon" to arrive.

500x300 Screenshots. No real information about Beta start. No news about A Realm Reborn contents or delovepment. I don't care about having a precise date, about Beta or Release, but at least I'd like to read Letter From The Producer with some information content... :(
