Chat 2.0

This topic is about the unoffical chat outside the forums


Okay so... the icanhazchat we have sucks. It's sucked for a while. So we need to explore some new options. Suggestions?

1.0 chat pretty good, IMO
multiple tabs, color coded, what else do we need

IM and Friends list built in the forums so it can work like Facebook? :D

BTW, what is Chat 2.0? >.>

Click, input a nickname, make your channel, yadda yadda, rest is sweet, froggy history.

If you want to use it, there's an ARR room set up so you can give it a try, if you don't like it, don't worry about it! Teh mibbit service is free ;)

just type /join #ffxiv to join~ or #ffxiv in the channel box ;)
