Drawing an entry for Lodestone event on live stream ( Maelstrom Edition :) )

come on by to check progress and/or chat along, pretty much the only thing I'll be doing for the rest of the day and maybe tomo is finishing this (my first fan art for FFXIV btw).

I wonder if I got the contest right. I thought we should invent our own chocobo. O.o

Anyway, what I saw looks great... (even though it was just a detail shot, I guess the saddle). If it wouldn't diminish my chances of winning I'd wish you good luck and foretell you a winning place. :P

My CPU fried last session a couple days ago! replaced my cpu and starting a new session! luckily progress was saved!

Could you please also post the colour version? I saw it for a moment the other day but it's hard to catch at the exact moment you're showing it when you tend to go back from colour to the black and white version a matter of seconds later compared to hours of black and white. Don't get me wrong, the black and white version is awesome and unique and a sure fire winner, but I love the pretty colours too :3 Maelstrom red pride all the way!

Nice stuff! I'm always excited when these sort of contests come up just to see great entries like this one.

Not all my work is there but meh its something lol, I'm just a student but I'm teaching my self some basics in photoshop painting tutorials never really helped me and I prefer to avoid them since getting hands held all the time makes me feel dependant on them too much, sometimes i need a few but generally i stay away ^^ For tips you gota be more specific, ask me something you want to know and maybe i can direct you in ways to achieve those things.

You can always jump in the channel and ask me questions im always willing to answer them!

I thought it was all CG but it's very good traditional art!

Just a quick update, didnt manage to finish just yet and leaving to nyc for a week in an hour or 2, I'll be back on the 21st to add some finishing touches so untill then compadres ^^
