Wishful thinking.....

Its 12.10am monday 4th Feb in japan time....Wonder if at 9am JP time there'll be some new news for us!! Im getting so impatient, im worse than a ten year old at Christmas!!!! I didnt think id miss FFXIV as much as i have :p

I'm pumped to have the beta start...but I honestly can't say I've missed 1.0, like, at all.

I miss my friends though. So excited to talk to them again! :D

I feel the exact same way. In fact, I'm actually happy that 1.0 doesn't exist anymore. (Sorry to those of you who miss it. I'm not purposely trying to irritate you.)

I really miss the people I played with, though, and I'm looking forward to playing with them once again in 2.0. Beyond that, I'm excited for 2.0 itself. Especially the new world, which I really think I'm going to enjoy hanging around in.

I always think that community is what set both FFXI and FFXIV apart from other mmorpgs...Im playing GW2 at the minute, and its a pretty solitary affair.

Just take the time to play some other games that you normally would not have time to play.

FutureMark is releasing their new 3DMark tomorrow. It's going to steal the show if SE releases at the same time. Maybe this is what SE wants because there's no SLI/CrossfireX profiles ready for ARR benchmark.

so? Ive capped all avalaible class before shutdown, cleared many long hours doing repetitive task for achievement, but Im not the one going withdrawal and all, create new thread here and there, whining why beta wont happen today

im certainly not whining why beta isnt today, im saying its all about anticipation. Dont contribute to the discussion if you cant be positive about people who are genuinely excited about the relaunch.

and dont take me wrong, I also excited with re launch, but I wont be such an eyesore, creating such topic with no contribution at all to the game

like i said, dont contribute to the thread if it bores you or your not interested Go do something else with your time instead of berating people here. I dont care if theres hundreds of threads all full of people saying theyre all excited about the game, i like the fact people are anticipating ARR and speculating on stuff, its keeping the forums going until the relaunch.

I rather see 100 Cheering/positive threads than see 100 Negative threads. At this point saying to people to not make " any threads" in general.. you won't get very far by telling them to stop. Let the mods decide weather a thread needs to die or not.

Well, there's a difference between a concerned thread and an EXCUSE ME DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY SUGAR CUBES I CAN GIVE THIS HIGH HORSE OF MINE I HAVE A RANT TO GIVE YOU PLEASE DON'T DISAGREE BECAUSE THAT'S MEAN threads. I wake up, I check the forums, I go to work, I get home, I check the forums, I sleep and then do everything all over again the next day. I have a life but, I am not ashamed to say that I also have an obsession with this game and it's development. Every bit closer we get to it's release makes me excited and my coworkers are actually pretty jazzed about the game too for those that play MMOs. It might have had something to do with my undying enthusiasm with the game which every chance I get I share to those willing to hear me blather on and answer their questions.

The forums get boring after awhile so it's nice for there to be new threads. Some old, dead, and dying thread in the past (no matter how long ago that actually was) did it's part in things but new threads are made because the old ones usually have been derailed or ranted in enough that a new one is not entirely a bad thing imho. Honestly I'm glad this thread doesn't have hundreds of pages on it so I don't feel bad about posting as I actually have read the whole thing.

Back on topic....

I really can barely wait for the benchmark and for the game! I'm not even sure if I will get into beta testing until Phase 3 but even then I am so excited for it! Every week I wonder what they will post and if it is information I have been waiting for or if it is just something neat. Honestly I was hoping for there to be something here in the forums about new information after I got off of work this morning. :P Oh well, I can wait I just don't want to lol.
