Yoshi said just before posting the live letter a week ago that the benchmark was going through the finishing touches then going for QA testing so give it another week or so maybe.. It has been said previously - it will be launched just before beta phase 1.

I wants benchmark too, tho I'm pretty sure my computer can handle 2.0 on max (at least after they implement SLI/Crossfire optimizations). I'm hoping of a sometime next week release. Hell, beta is spost to start the week after that if they continue with 'mid february' beta start.

Not fussed about the invites - I'm sure most of us who are active in the forums are Legacy. :)

Beta is scheduled to begin mid Feb (according to the roadmap) so I wouldn't be suprised if the benchmark is released very soon. At least I hope it is ;)

There are about 10 days until the "middle" 10 days of February start (by the Japanese calendar interpretation) though, whether or not this applies to Square Enix's concept of time is another matter indeed.

The middle of February in SE time is the end of June.

I'm expecting the Benchmark to be dropped sometime next week. I'd be shocked if they didn't announce the date it was being released and just released it randomly though.

At the very least tonight should bring another blog update, unless they're working Saturday again. Soken has said on Twitter a lot he's mostly caught up with SFX and sound engineering (and yesterday he mentioned such a load of work he and his team are struggling!) so I don't know if he'll have time to snip up another demo so soon.

Haha! but seriously, There are somethings like Patches to be delayed, but the start date for ARR and the Benchmark with Yoshi-P's emotion towards "mid-Feb", It should release at that time, and I highly doubt Beta will " start" in June. When Beta Comes You know the Benchmark is already out. If you said Mid-Feb= Mid March in SE time then I could be more inclined to believe ya :P. However, June for Start of Beta? Think your off your high horse :P.

Edit: Anyhow, I think the Benchmark will be in a Blog post as well as a Lodestone post as well. so it may very well come in the next Blog. ( Don't get your hopes up though).

We were told on December 6 that the Benchmark program was soon to be released and there was a screeenshot of the benchmark program in progress. If "soon to be released" means it takes over two months to be finalized, I has a sad.

Soon to Square-Enix is far different then the average "soon."

I do expect the Benchmark here within a week or so though.

Because everytime He says "Soon" FFXIV ARR takes Priority over any games at this moment. Yes it's a different team, but they said they took a lot of members from Various projects to make FFXIV ARR the best it can be. Once FFXIV ARR is out (by E3 Latest) You can expect infomation to pour in then. Sometimes certain things arises and all we can do is wait it out.

I really forgot all about Versus XIII.... I'm more concerned about what ever happened to Kingdom Hearts 3. That teaser at the end of KH2 still has me waiting.
