[Suggestion] Prompt "invoke Guardian Aspect" window after perform leve-link

Right now the UI is slow, still slow. Performing leve-link and invoking GA will take a good amount of time mostly for the aetheryte menu/window to load and response. Right now "initiate a guild-leve" prompts the "invoke Guardian Aspect" prompt window after leve is initiated. Then why doesn't "performing leve-link" sequence prompt "invoke Guardian Aspect" prompt window after leve-link is performed?

Please add Guardian Aspect prompt after performing leve-link.

Good idea. make it so we dont have to re-inspect the aethecyte to invoke aspect.

I think it would be even more annoying. I don't need to invoke every time after performing link, cose mostly it's waste of invoke points.

That's a good depending on what you're doing. If you're going through the only 7 or so good leves in the game on lock than yes it's useful. If you're spending your time doing the other worthless leves than I'm inclined to agree with Yazoo that I'd rather not be bothered because it's a waste of GA.

You do realise that you have the choice to say no, right ?

I agree that we should be promted when leve-linking, it'ss easier to cancel the option than to select the aetheryte twice.

Obviously you have a choice. As I said, I thought clearly enough, it depends what you're doing. If the answer is worthless leves where almost 100% of the time you're going to say no to the prompt, then it's a bad idea because at that point it's more work than accessing the aetheryte twice when needed. If you're going to say yes almost 100% of the time, the inverse is true.

Prompts are great for something that it was likely you were going to say yes to in the first place. Or in the rare case of selling expensive items accidentally to an NPC the "are you sure" prompt is nice, but a proper buyback feature makes that unnecessary as well.

Pressing Escape or the cancel button on a controller is hardly a big deal though is it ?

It asks you if you want to invoke when you are the one starting the leve, It should ask you if you are the one linking the leve as well.

Same thing again. Is it a big deal to go into the aetheryte the 1 in 100 times one actually wanted GA? I didn't think it was. One solution means pressing escape 99 times, the other means accessing the aetheryte twice once. Yes that's an exaggeration but that's not the point. If the majority of the time you want to take it, it's not a big deal to have to hit escape when you don't want it, if it's the inverse, it's a nuisance.

Depends entirely on which side you land on, frequent or seldom user. The balance of convenience changes depending.

All I know is that I would like to press more buttons and close more windows before starting each guildleve. :)

Pressing escape once is completely different than Opening menu, selecting Aetheryte, Selecting Guardians Favour, selecting Yes.

You're completely crazy if you think otherwise.

Well I'll agree with you that I'm crazy but that's neither here nor there. I'm glad apparently disagreeing makes me 'completely crazy'.

But, not to worry, I never suggested the two were the same thing. I am aware that the two are completely different. What I said, was that over the course of several prompts, that difference is secondary because the amount of times you're clicking no, if you're in the segment of people who will be mostly turning GA down, outweighs the aggravation required to simply open up the menu once in a while.

It's an easy "yes" to the initial suggestion posed by the OP if I'm looking at a world wherein I am only ever going to do 1 leve 1 time and I intend to take GS and I'm a person linking it not initiating it and I'm never going to play the game again. In this world the choice is easy because as an isolated incident it's most certainly better to get a prompt and not have to go through menus. But that scenario doesn't really exist and not everyone wants GA most of the time depending on the circumstances. Again, it depends. What is great and convenient for you is an unnecessary extra for others. Do you leave the UAC setting on in Windows so it can helpfully prompt you all the time for everything? I sure the hell don't. Being prompted for things constantly isn't always preferable.
