Highlander female still looks like a boy in drag >.> I guess that's part of the appeal though :p and the Roe fem. just looks scary D: Man'qote? Meh. . . .

The Lalafell... Is she sporting a braid? I can't exactly tell, but sorta looks like it.

Hold on a second... is Ifrit even bigger now!?! If I'm not mistaken, the Midlander in the foreground for scale makes Ifrit look twice as big as he was in 1.0! Clearly the Amalj'aa have been busy gathering crystals.

That was a pleasant read.

A lot of good information here. Also nice to see some faces behind the names. Most important thing Yoshi-P told us was that they are on schedule so........about 3 more weeks til the Beta Benchmark and Phase 1 Beta testing. I am ready.

Female highlander is nice. :o Good read.

I thought the Highlander female looked like a 'irl' strong women - someone who may actually scare you but is also appealing.

Roe reminds me of WoW female orc, except with 1000% better graphics lol (not an insult, unless you hate WoW - but that's not my problem ;P).

So excited to see all the new combinations >.<! (Not all options will be available at phase one)

Japanese logo? you mean the bit of japanese written to the lower right of the title? everything else seems to be the same to me.

Can't wait for the beta test to get here after seeing some of those screens. I just hope that Miqo'te Online features enough yarn for all the players to play with :3

Adding at least the katakana for Final Fantasy ## is another long-standing tradition. That aside, I also think it looks amazing next to Dalamud. Japanese has a very fiery look to it, in almost every typeface they come up with. I've always loved writing it. :D

If you follow the logo color, It's basically A Realm Reborn: Final Fantasy XIV. I have all NA FF series and none of them have that Japanese logo. I was asking if you want that logo to be kept for the final release though.

Phase 3 of alpha test. Not beta. Legacy got no special treatment in alpha test.

I am legacy member failed to board throughout whole alpha test.... So this Jeff is lucky enough.
(Make sure Yoshi is not talking about Beta.)

That Roe female looks pretty spot on... though I must admit, I was expecting something more ... err ... muscular XD

Quite interesting that there are very few games that has a main playable female that's err... not slim... but that's off topic...
