I suspect the beta apply site and the benchmark, since SE said they will be releasing 2 benchmarks: 1) for the beta version, and one before the release for the completed version.

Actually every date he has given has been in JST and whoever translates never even bothers to convert the date given. Always been that way. Only time it hasn't is when they give times for maintenance in the news section of the lodestone.

I don't have source..think it was a live letter...but yeah 1 will be the standard benchmark (Ferny showed a couple pics of it) and the 2nd one will be a character creator benchmark

Yeah, it's still the 6th where I am also. Generally, for me, its very very late in the day if not already into the next day before SE decides it's the day they said.

My money is on Beta Test Application and a letter.

It was announced as the 7th on the Live Letter. So i'm pretty sure that means PST. I don't expect anything until tomorrow.

I think he said the 7th which is not PST it will be the 6th for US. I think it will be after lunch his time which im in CA so thatle be 16hrs from our time. hopeing 1pm ish. so that would be like 8-9pm pacific

So maybe 3:30 hours left... That should give them time for Yoshida to make his letter and get it translated by the localizers...

Is it just me or is the message you get when you try to log into 1.0 different? Wasn't it ~"The server is currently on maintenance" before? Now it is ~"Service has ceased since 1.0" and "please uninstall" and look forward to our continued interest in FF14 ARR/ER

The last few times I've waited for SE to produce something on a Monday in Japan, I saw it around 3am Texas time (1am PST or 9am GMT). So we may have up to 10 more hours to wait.

dont think its a letter and if it was it was likely written already. it will be an announcement is all, well at least thats what im speculating

of corse could wait till evening for them then it will be way late for us.

Whenever we got those Alpha videos showing gameplay, I always saw them posted around 9-10PM EST on Wednesday.

The alpha videos could have come from the english localizing team rather than from yoshida or SE...

Oh, I know that, but they had them posted like that around that specific timeframe. So if they posted that on Wednesday evening for EST, it was uploaded for Japan on Thursday evening.
