Lodestone staying?

Now that all traces of FFXIV dissolved into thin air this morning, I was wondering if The Lodestone will stay just like it is and continue displaying the same front page information or will it undergo major changes now.

it will eventually turn into the new lodestone and the old stuff will be archived, as far as I'm aware.

But yeah what he said.. lol - I believe they want to archive everything including old forum/lodestone/blogs, though they are considering the feasibility and purpose of such action. (But if they do what I thought they said 1.0 web pages will differ from 2.0)

Well, it would be better if they clean everything up and make a new forum. Why should we keep old-fart threads about 1.xx? lol

The forums we have now + the light blue color scheme from ARR = My ideal 2.0 forums :D

Of course, anything to steer away from the 1.0 look is a welcome change imo.

I am a web developer and everything is possible if they import the SQL database to the new forums since both look the same but look abit different tho.

What I don't understand is with Google+ when "End of an Era" came out and I got many friend requests from XIV players.

I checked the Lodestone website and well it's not user-friendly interface. No wonder why almost nobody uses it. =/

Other than that, yes it's a nice place to check what's new (even I like it better than PlayOnline's blogs and my eyes feel relaxed).

they dont really need to import anythiing, they just paste the freaking ARR skin into here LOL

Still, I am unsure if that PHP can match the old database (This top forum doesn't have page buttons like 1, 2, 3 ... 35 if you know what I mean).

With NEON LETTERS! jk.. but I think Vibrant colors can make the forums .0111121267467 more postive :P.

uh, there is a button outside the thread where you can click to go to the last page/post of a thread.

Yeah... I agree. If we were to pretend we knew what an ARR forum looked like *whistles*... and it was bubbly and dark, and yet with neon colors.. I'd feel like I was thrust into a night club lol. Shiny for a second and then your head just starts to throb. I'm pretty happy with 1.0's mellow colors, most likely you could change the default theme so all should be well.

That's not what I mean or I am not sure if you understand. You weren't an alpha tester, were you? I posted the picture for example below:

You see the red circle? Those number are the buttons where you simply click it straight to the last page.

However, this thread is talking about if it's possible to move all old threads to the new forum so my answer was.... unknown. lol
